The ride will still be better than stock. You could sell the spindles, buy a 650" spring, and not preload as much to get to 3" and still have a good ride and not be out any $$$. May make some $ depending on how much the spindles sell for.

Or you could add that leaf Like Tom did above.

Don't get down, your still a much better setup than stock. What your looking for is obtainable, Tom's truck above is proof of that. Just need to make sure what route will be the best before buying.

^^^^^Makes no sense at all, but I'm not going to argue

FYI, TC spindles are 3.5", Camburg's are 4", Maxtrac are 4", and CST's are 3.5".

Oh and 600 lb coils suck on a 2wd (IMO), the 4x4 use the same rate coils and weigh significantly more. Manufacturers would have likely used a 550 lb coil to improve ride but to keep things simple they use 600s across the board.

Oh well I'm out on this one since I don't know enough :p

Its all good though, no hating. We all have our own opinions and that's what keeps the forums interesting.

Time for bumps in the back

Hows she ride with the additional leaf?

Ubolt flip kit and Wheelers bumps are on the way!
It's a touch stiffer though I have only done the highspeed over speedbump test. It is still softer than I thought it was going to be so i'm happy with that.

I had maxtrac spindles installed in my double cab about 3-4 months ago. I'm only running spindles up front and a 1" block in the rear. Recently I started noticing a slight vibration coming from the rear when I accelerate, it doesn't happen all the time though. At first I was convinced it was the road that was jacked up and was causing it but after noticing it more I know it's coming from the back. Could it be because of the block?

What would you guys recommend if I wanted to keep a slight "bro lean" like a have now? New leaf pack, AAL, TSB?

Have you tried crawling back there and tightening bolts up? First thing you should do on a vibe is check for loose anything. Also might be from blocks causing stress on the leaf packs.

Worst case, pick yourself up some All-pro standard leafs. Those are about 3" lift leafs...should provide you with about an inch bro lean

If you haven't re-tightened the u-bolts since you had installed them that would be the problem... U-bolts will stretch over time and they should be checked every once and a while...

I checked the u bolts, they were all still tight. Gonna see about picking up some 1/4 washers and try the carrier bearing drop and see how that works out

Wheels and tires are same as before
Could it be because I used spacers for the wheels?
Alignment was done by the shop

Install was done at Beyer Supreme Tires

This morning on my way to work steering wheel shake was so bad at freeway speeds. I have no rattles, no sings of the problem being the spindles. Feels more like the problem could be the cheap lug centric spacers from Ebay.

Alright guys, I have been away on vacation for the last few weeks and didn't receive my spindles until I got back. Hope to be able to start the install after my trip to Texas next week. I want to make sure that I have everything ordered before I leave. So far, I have at the house maxtrac spindles (with extended brake lines) and Eibach coils.

Since I will have approximately 5.6" of lift in the front. I am going to go with a 2" AAL and 2" block in the rear. Picking up a set of Deaver 2" AAL from a member today. Besides the blocks, what else do I need?

Extended brake lines?, U-blot flip kit (dont do any wheeling). I want to make sure that I have everything that I need before I get started.

Anything else that I am not thinking of?
