You can have them tap the top plate and then reuse your factory bumps or buy something else like a daystar bump stop kit. Look up NoFords set up he is using universal bumps in the rear

I'm just not gonna use stops..With the all pro expo pack I shouldn't bottom out too much. I know guys that are running billies with the expo pack and no bump stop and are just fine.

Measure how much thread from your u bolts sticks below your axle that's what you'll gain

You need to buy an Expo Pack, a 2 " AAL will give you some MAJOR lean with spindles and Billies at 1.75. Even then @ 1.75 it won't be level. I agree with no bumps. I'm going to explore my options and do some testing, but I'll be bump-stop less until then. I don't wheel though, not really at least. Maybe I'll find some used Timbrens, or just bolt up my stock ones.

Where else can you can clearance for $50 though, and if you damage threads of the u bolts you'll wish you'd have done it if you ever need to change leaf packs

FYI - anyone looking to run a spindle lift with the TRD FJ wheels..........

The TRD FJ wheels have 4.875 inches of backspace so they are not a good choice to use with the spindle lifts as most spindle lift mfgr's call for a max BS of 4.5 inches

I'm runnin pro comp 7047's with a 4.75 backspace. I am gonna get 1/4" spacers for the front. they just slide over lug's. not really much of a difference but will allow me to clear my spindles

Couldnt even get started, apperently whoever rotated my tires last decided to torque the lugs as tight as possible, couldnt get my lugs off with a damn breaker bar so im gonna take it to a shop tomorrow and see how much they charge to just do it

Just wanted to chime in here, it’s not really a clearance thing but more of a protect your bolts and nuts (no pun intended) thing. Think rock crawling and damage protection. You want your bolts hanging down ready to get snagged on something or distroyed by a rock? Here’s your solution, a flip kit.

By the way I must say those Timbren bumps are a really nice addition with the leaf pack and flip kit. Bundle this with some 2.5 Walker shocks, which is what I'll be running, and your ass end will be as smooth as silk (get your mind out of the gutter). ;)

The stock lug nuts gave me BIG problems, I went to a tire shop bought new better lug nuts and had them change them out. Then went home and took the tires back off to do the install.
