What is the biggest tire size you can run with 4" lift? without major trimming.

^Same here. At 265/75/16 I was perfectly fine...then I moved up to 285/75/16 and had to get the cab mount chopped....but only because I have Spidertrax 1.25 spacers up front, which widened the turn radius a bit...I actually still rub at full lock going backwards on the drivers side. I think its just how the CMC was done though, may be poking out a like .0010 or some crap over the other side. Paint has been removed in a little square inch spot...

I'm running 285/75/16s right now but they don't fill up the wheel/fender gap enough on a 4" IMO. I was thinking around a 305/75/16 which is a 34"

Really? My 33's seemed pretty good up until I got fiberglass fenders. Now they seem a bit small, thinking 35's next

Bilstein 5100s 2.5", 275/70/17's, Wicked Flow Exhaust, K&N SRI, 5k Headlights & Fogs, More to come!
Basic question for anyone who may know about maxtrac spindles with bilstein's.

Anyone know if its possible to run the 4" spindle with 5100's set at 2.5"? Or is it not possible due to alignment or other issues?

I noticed in all my searching that no one is running that set up. They have the 5100s at 1.75" at the most?

I currently have my 5100s at 2.5" and looking to get the spindles but trying to see if I need to re-set them to 1.75 or less?

It's possible. Yes you'll get like 6"+ of lift.

Will it ride like shit, probably.

Some people are also running their 5100's at 1.75 with Eibach springs. Which will yield the same result. You can set them at 2 5 and it will ride a little rough but no rougher than you already have. I personally have mine set at 1.75 on stock springs and driver side has 1/4" top plate spacer. For taco lean. And running 33's so you'll be fine. And to get your spindles hop in on the group buy currently going on and save you some money.

    Clarification....
Any lift gained from other components like coils and adjustable shocks will F with your angles therefore possibly causing issues with alignment.

Best thing to do is to keep it under 6"

So whatever your alignment is with your 2.5" of lift is, it will not change by adding spindles. You will have 6.5" of lift or so, though.

He's right but in most cases they can still get it in spec. My toe is 0, camber 0, caster 2.3 and I'm running 6" all the way around

Awesome guys! Thanks so much for the quick responses! I will consider all this info for sure. I was assuming that I could keep the 2.5 setting, but good to know that it's better to back it down a bit. Ill check out the group buy fursharks. ;)
