What about 4 inches of lift. Anyone know if 33's will rub?

Depends what your backspacing is and how far your tires stick out. Mine rubs only when at full lock going into a driveway too fast.

i've seen a few pictures but still can't make up my mind. how do you think 265/70/17 size tires would look with the maxtrac spindles(with icon coil overs set at lowest possible setting) up front and dakars in the back? right now i have ome 885's with 5100's up front and a 2in aal and 5100's in the back. it looks good,i'm just scared to go higher with the tires i have now lol

Or could I be level with a multi leaf aal instead of Dakars?

    Hello,

This morning I decided to re-install my 2" tapered blocks so now I have a total of 4"'s of lift which was my goal. I wanted to see how much more the drive shaft would come out & the pics will show that it's not much more at all. As k9cop said, the taper of the block helps. I wanted 4"'s of rear lift so that I can install the Maxtracs, set my 5100's @ .85 with my OEM PreRunner coils, & still have some rake:

BTW, The pic of the CB was before I installed the ToyTec CB drop kit. I actually have 2 kits so I installed both spacers @ first & here's what happened:

    No cb drop spacer:
    Very bad take-off vibe

    2 cb drop spacers:
very little take-off vibe but a wum, wum, wum, sound between 63 & 75 MPH.

    1 cb drop spacer:
same take-off vibe that I've had for the almost 2 years of different lifts but smooth all the way to 110 MPH.

I left it with 1 cb drop spacer.

I've thought of Beefed tacos CB drop kit but that brings the CB even lower than the 2 CB spacers from ToyTec so I guess it is what it is with the take-off shudder.

Got RAKE!!!! I sure as hell do....
41"'s rear / 38"'s front (from ground to fender base with 275/70r17 BFG A/T's) 885 coils with no top plate spacer,
3 Leaf AAL with 2" tapered block.

    Thanks!

How thick is the cb spacer you installed? Headstrong sent me two as well. One from maxtrac that's 1/2 in and one from ome that's 1/4 in

I didn't know that maxtrac sold those. I used the toytec one.

4crawleroffroad & lowrangeoffroad don't make it for my truck. 4crawleroffroad did say that they can sell me a non drilled spacer & 11mm bolts (yes, I have 11mm bolts instead of the standard 10 or 12mm bolts) & I can have the holes drilled. I'd rather have the driveshaft spacer but I don't know of any good machine shop that I would trust to drill the holes for me.

I'd say start with the smaller of the two and work up. I did this with washers at first and ended up using the one OME sells. It got things good for me in the back, but you have more lift so it might be that the 1/2" is what you need.

This whole vibe thing is a trial and error deal, had the same issue with my ford and it drove me crazy. A shim is what fixed it in the end.

I have 7.5" front lift and 4.5" of rear lift. .probably the biggest prerunner on this site running maxtracs not having long travel...I had to run beefed tacos 1.5" cb drop and 4crawlers 1.5" driveshaft spacer to get mine right..I have 0 vibes..no problems at all and am very happy..I went through the experiments with the washers and and crap and it cost me a carrier bearing...my 4crawler spacer bolted right up. .I got the one predrilled for a tacoma and it worked perfect

With that CB drop isn't the angle of the driveshaft at the tranny too steep? Any pics?

    This is F%&*ING FRUSTRATING!

4crawleroffroad have really been doing their best with my situation. I just don't know what to do at this point.

    Any suggestions? :(

    This is their response below:
    _____________________________________________________________
    1. Run a 7/16" or 11mm drill bit or even a round file through the flange hole and spacer to open it up just a bit to fit the supplied bolt through.

    2. Exchange the spacer for an undrilled one and drill it out to match your flange.

    3. Send us a tracing of the flange along with the 65mm x 65mm spacer and we can try enlarging the 65mm x 10mm holes to 66mm x 11mm, include $20 to cover the custom machining and return postage. Note the bolts will still be 10mm. If you wanted an 11mm size bolt, we could try to special order a set for $20.00 additional.

    4. Return the spacer for a refund.
    ______________________________________________________________

I shipped the spacer to them. I don't want to enlarge the holes when the overall diameter of the spacer is smaller than the diffs round flange.

I'm thinking of ordering from here because they have 3 different bolt patterns & ONE OF THEM has to work. I'll have to find a machine shop that can enlarge the holes to accommodate the 11mm bolts & order the 11mm bolts from 4crawleroffroad or who ever else may sell heavy duty bolts for this. Let me know what you think.

If you are looking for an inexpensive way to make that drive line or drive shaft stretch... or if you have extended your wheelbase and need a quick extension- this is an easy way to do it. CNC Machined to match the 3 most common drive shaft patterns and matches most common triple drilled drive shaft flanges available to the Toyota aftermarket.

    Please forgive my frustration.

Have a '13 Prerunner with the XSP-X package (it's a package available in the Southeast) and was looking at 3" lifts. Rough Country tells me the XSP is already lifted but I don't see it and it seems unlikely to me it would come lifted from the dealer. My hub to fender in front is 21.5 and 22 in back. Don't know the stock measurement on the Prerunner and was hoping someone could help me Out with the hub to fender measurement on a stock Prerunner. Would really like to try and get the Maxtracs and All Pro leafs but would like to know where I stand now. Also assuming I will Need to change the wheels. 18x9 with about 6" BS and running 265/60/18 BFG Rugged Terrain T/A's. Thanks.

xsp is just an appearance package from what I understand. Baja is the one that is already lifted in front due to the bilstein coilovers they add.

Maxtrac spindles, debugged, lots of plastidip, Iron Cross rear bumper, new head unit,
I have the same package (XSP-X) and I got told the same thing, I have the maxtrac kit with the block in the back and I'm level, no issues.

As far as the tires, I have 265/75/R16's and I had to use spacers to make them fit. I don't know what year yours is, or what rims yours came with, but I have pictures of mine if you want to use it for reference.

Hey CMerk - Your truck looks great. Mine is a '13 so should be pretty much the same as yours. Any other issues like trimming or vibration? Thanks for the info.
