I had the TRD OR suspension on my truck, and I found it to be better and smoother than the stock SR5 suspension. Are you getting the TRD suspension for free?

Also, you can use washers until you find the spacer/CB drop bracket of your choice. I wouldn't go balls to the wall, but you'll be fine for a little while.

Ok great! No i got the used 5100's (set at 1.75) and OR coils for $100 so thats a damn good deal imo. I am going to use the off road coils instead of my TRD Sport coils then. Thanks for the info!!
    I ordered this aal http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com...af-for-Tacoma-with-rear-TSB-springs_p_16.html
I'm hoping that with the 4" spindle lift and 5100's at 1.75 i can at least level it out or have 1" taller in back with that and a 2" block.

I thought you had the SR5 suspension, my mistake. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

The Sport suspension is going to be a bit smoother on pavement than the OR, but if you plan to take your truck off roading at all, the OR would be your better bet. I don't know how much difference you're actually going to feel though. I had OR on mine so I don't know how much different a Sport handles.

Thanks! and awesome man. This is a little more than a 4, 2 package though. It's maxtrac spindles with billies set at .85 and a quarter inch toytec spacer in the front for 5.35 inches of lift and the rear is a dakar leaf pack with a one inch block and a 3 degree axle shim.

Joe- Nice truck man!! Where abouts are you in Orlando? I work right near Millenia Mall. I plan on doing almost the same thing as you next weekend. Still up in the air about what setting to put the 5100's on though. After looking at yours i may put them to .85 instead of 1.75 (with 1/4'' spacer). How much does your Dakar leaf pack raise it? I'm going to be using a 1.5" aal and either 1" or 2" blocks for now.

I'm in the oviedo area. I was just at ikea today what a shame! Go out and buy a 10mm flare nut wrench for the brake lines. For the bilsteins, if you have a 1.4 inch spacer I would set them at 0. That would give you 5.4 inches of lift. I have 5.35. The dakars will give you 2.5 to 3 in the back. So if you are using a 1.5 inch aal I would go with a 2 inch block. You should sit pretty perfectly level. Make sure you get new shocks for the rear that will be long enough. To answer your PM, I would definitely use the 3 degree shims and the ome cb drop kit. Together these gave me virtually no vibes and my driveshaft is still well within my yolk. I do have a slight slight vibe at takeoff but its barely noticeable.

My bad, I meant 1/4" spacer. No spacers up front except the 1/4" for drivers side. I do have the flare nut wrenches. I did order the ToyTec cb drop kit but need to get some shims i guess. I'll check at 4wheelparts and see if they have any. Thanks man!

Toytec sells them! And I have the quarter inch spacer on both sides. No noticeable lean.

So guys, I've had my maxtrac spindles/spacers/AAL just sitting waiting for me to pick out a rim/tire combo. I've got a couple questions.

    1) The leafs on my truck now are stock and are NON-TSB. With stock springs in the front, with 4in spindle lift in front, and adding a 2.5" AAL in the back, by about how much will I be offset or will I be even?

    2) To fill the wheel well nicely without having to do any trimming (I suppose I could get the mechanic who can do the lift for me could do this, but I'd prefer not to have to) I'd like to go with a 17 or 18 inch rim. What size tire should I be looking for?

Thanks guys, any help is appreciated

5.35 inches technically. And yeah tons of rubbing at full lock. Gonna need to do the cmc soon.

Had them on for about two months. Finally got some pics up. Pretty happy with the maxtrac. No complaints.

I like this color the more I see it, I hated it when it first came out. Saw some guy with this color and he had it fully decked out expo style, plate bumper w/winch, roof rack, bed rack, RTT, hi-lift, gas cans..... looked so nice.

Nice what other suspension components are you running besides the spindles?

I see. Planning a 4 inch lift in the front myself with 285/70/17 though. Wanted to go bigger but seems like it'll rub too much.

Thanks. 5100's/885's + All pro Expo leafs. I'm gonna throw some fox resi's in the front in a couple of months.
