I've got Maxtracs, King 2.5 c/o's, Built Right uppers and the cab mount chop. I'm currently running a 275/65R18 but am thinking 35/12.5R18. I know I'd have to re-gear but are 35's too big? Should I just stick with 33's?

    A few things
I just put the MaxTrac up front with Billies set at 1.75. I have a 2" tapered block in rear with a 1.5"aal. I sit about 1" high in rear which is exactly what i was going for(basically looks level to me). You should probably get ext rear brake lines as well (you might be safe without but you dont want to be needing them after your lift is on). I think you will be right at level with your set up. Post lots of pics.

They look cool but don't seem too practical without fiberglass. Round here, we like to run through the desert and I'm afraid when the suspension compresses, I'll crumple my fenders...

Ok... Not that I'm a stalker or anything but I do watch and try to answer anyone's questions and give them the straight scoop.
Maxtrac spindles are a TRUE 4" lift spindle... The only reason we can come up with why you get less has to do with the alignment or the offset of the front end. Widening of the track could contribute to this because changing the pivot point would put more load on the struts which this could drop the front end. There are so many factors that can cause this I will try to get you guy's a picture with our spindles next to a stock spindle and show the difference...

I know on maxtrac website it shows a tacoma 6in lift. Which is why I asked jj and sean. It shows 4" spindles with 2.5 top plate spacers. They said the reason for 2.5 is that the spindles are 3.5 add a 2.5 spacer and you get 6in. Which with the math is correct.

Sean takes care of the Tundra forums... Those are a 3.5" spindle

    Tacos are a 4".....

    Just the facts.....

Just to let you guys know we have a new spindle coming out for the Chevy's and the spindle lift's the truck 4.75" and instead of just calling it a 5" spindle we wanted to be exact so we will call it a 4.75" spindle...

The only person I will lie to regarding size is my girlfriend.... She calls me footlong.... lol..

Any questions just give us a call... BOB.. aka footlong.....just sayin

    Makes since.

I asked Ricks2013 for his measurements & after he was at 26" hub to fender & he has the maxtrac's & billies at at 1.75. I know my stock measurement was 20.5" so going off that & doing the math he gained 3.75" with the spindles alone.

Ok that makes more sense as to why the back end is lower than the front with a 4" block. So do you guys plan on selling 4.5in blocks to adjust the .5 front end being higher? If so I would be interested in ordering.

Completely different....Just a thought... How do we know that the Billies are really at 1.75"??? and putting more pressure on the stock coils would they give you a true 1.75"??? The spindles are steel... They are 4" taller than stock. they cannot change. The spindles are the only constant... They cannot sag or distort at all...

regarding THE 4" blocks... Stock the Tacoma's sit roughly 2.5" lower in the front. Now we have seen differences in ride height but all we can go by is what we can see. So 6.5" in front and 4" in the rear should have the truck sitting level... In a perfect world... What did you run in the front???

Just to clarify you took your buddies beginning measurement's on his truck and used your ending measurement's on your truck to get your height??? How do you know if his height was the same as your height stock?

No I took his end measurements & used my stock measurement. I have a 2012 & his is a 2013 both sports, should be close.
    My stock measurement was 20.5" & with a 3" spacer lift it's now 23.5".
