Oright fellas this sunday is the big day!! Taking the day off so my buddies can help me with the install! Right now I have the Maxtrac spindles w/ the included hardware. 1/4 " wheel spacers and adj. Bliilies w/ stock coils. There's a good guy here who is a toyota M.T. and has a spring compressor to do the springs for us! My wheels are 4.75 BS. hence the 1/4 inch wheel spacers...Is there anything else I need that you guys can think of..Oh yeah beer has aready been purchased, I hope that 36 beers for the three of us will do, Bud Light. We are just doing the front right now gonna set billies at 1.75 for now. Getting all pro expo pack but still on order:( Hopefully should be level after the expo pack. or close to it

    markmatters,

I recently bought the same size/brand tires as you have. Our trucks are pretty much spot on same, as far as body, engine, etc. What have you found to be the best riding pressure for the tires? Discount tires set mine at 44 psi but I am not sure if I like the ride at that psi....

Be sure to have two full size jacks. Brake fluid, and brake cleaner will be useful when you get the fluid everywhere. You can rent a "Strut Compressor" from any auto parts store. Very easy to use if you have pneumatic tools. Be sure you align the top and bottom of the 5100's with the bolt holes on your truck, or you will be compressing them twice. Keep someone sober to get it aligned after the install.

Enjoy looking down at other trucks :D

yeah, discount set mine to about the same...i went down to like 33. but that's my personal preference..that's what pops always said...i like it..

edit: about the eibachs, im still debating whether or not i'm going with that setup...i'll have to wait to see how much the pack is going to settle and see if it's still higher than the front...i just dont like the rear being higher...

thanks for looking out, i'll keep those in mind...good price too.

and thanks k9, that makes me feel a little better....but i still don't like it. haha..

also guys, my driveline vibrations are back...so after the pack install, i am at 27.5" rear and 26.5" with spindles and 5100's...unhappy that it's vibrating like crazy taking off 5-15 mph and around 50-55....actually thinking about taking the pack off...i already have a custom 1" carrier bearing drop my neighbor fabricated which eliminated all vibrations after the aal install...so this is my experience with this setup and just letting you guys know...

^27.5 in the back holy sheot dude...that's w/ just an expo pack? Sorry to hear bout the driveline shutter. Do you think the toytec shims will help? Iwas kinda hoping the expo pack would get rid of my shutter...

standard...plus a .5" angled 3 degree blocks I had laying around...with or without, my vibrations were bad...I tried it with blocks off...then on...then carrier spacer on off...so many variations until i got mad and had to leave the house because I was annoyed as hell...so my truck is in jack stands at home. I was trying to get that shim effect since the blocks have that angle and well, i wasn't going to waste $20 bucks for shims if they dont work...

Ok boys here's some more pics for the thread. Spindles are awesome! Really sat well after I got the rear in. Very slight lean but I'm really liking it. You can see more clearance in the front fender wells but the truck sits even. The bed top is perfectly flat so makes it seem like how it's supposed to be. Also my new N-fab steps showed up today! Popped them on... Here's what I just got on:

    Maxtrac Spindles
5100s all around with Eibach coils upfront set at 0.
Light Racing Upper Control Arms (set at -1 (+1* caster))
All Pro Standard 3" leaf pack + u bolt flip kit
N-fab step rails (for the shorties...)

Have Sport stock 17" rims with 33" tires and 1.75" wheel spacers. Width and stance is perfect, I'll add a front shot later... but it's flush!

Need to measure rear flex for new shocks. 5100 is too short.also bumps though I did put my stocks back on. Also ended up keeping the sway bar off.

Ride is a loot better with Eibachs at zero. Had them at .85 and spacers, was more firm. Before that had @ 1.75 with stock coils. Eibachs have been best now at zero, can't wait to see it off road. Rides real solid and smooth now. Loving the lift!!!!

    Oh and alignment numbers:
    Camber:0
    Toe: 0
    Caster: 3.5

Still got to tackle abs issue tomorrow...

I got vibes when I had your lift(1.75/AAl). I got the carrier bearing spacer kit from Beefed Taco but I still had vibes with AAL. Then I flipped carrier bearing and vibes went down. But once I got the All Pro springs on I have no vibes at all! Guess beefedTacos' kit works well with 3" lift and flipping the carrier bearing. I'm glad it went away once I changed things.

I did buy a digital angle finder as a thread showed how to measure and find what to adjust but the vibes are gone so guess I don't need it hah. Now that you'd got 3" leafs you should Hit beefedTaco up about a CB drop bracket. Like $75...

my neighbor fabbed up something similar to the beefedtaco cb drop...that worked awesome after having my 5100's at 2.5" and aal...installed the spindles and still had no vibes...this happened after the pack was installed...i can prolly have him fab a replica of the beefedtaco piece.. (hey, he will do it for me in exchange of a six pack, hah) and try that out...my driveline looks straight tho...

and, the pack gave me more than 3"...but it will settle and when it does, i'm hoping it'll be lower than my front...if it doesnt, i will go the eibach/.85 way just to be a bit higher...anyone got an exact number of lift with their eibach/.85 setup and taco lean spacer? if it's more than the 1.75 i will probably go for it..

I had the same problem, it took the 3 degree shims and a 1 1/2 cb drop to make the vibes stop.

If none of them work for you, you may want to consider a one piece drive shaft.

the .5" blocks i was messin around with have the 3 degree angle...only difference would be the cb drop...mine was fabbed up at an inch...maybe that 1/2" does the trick...ill get my neighbor to work on it..hah...if everything fails, i'll just remove the leaf pack, i loved how my truck looked before them and had no vibes at all...now it rides like caca and vibrates even worse...not fun...maybe i'm just looking for an excuse to go back to my desert friendly look...
