    I have a few mods
when i went into the hobby shop sat to take my CO off to get that collar unseized and when I got her up in the air and noticed that the driver side wheel was pointed inwards just slighty and thats when I found that the castle nut for the tie rod wasnt tightened down so it loose and I could move it by hand really easily

    Hello folks,

I decided to post this here. Hope it helps someone looking to do this set-up.

    275/70r17 BFG A/T's (eventually going to 285/70's).

Spider Trax Black Wheel Spacers (from Wheelers Off-Road) installed on the rear to closely match the wider stance that the spindles provide up front.

My FJ Cruiser wheels have .75"'s more of offset than the 17" Tacoma TRD Sport wheels & the 16" Tacoma TRD Off-Road wheels (except the 16" OEM Bead lock wheels), those have the same offset as the 17" FJ wheels. Look at the last 2 pics & you'll see that there is a 1/2" of space between the Spindle & the wheel.

    FRONT:
    OEM PreRunner coils,
    5100's @ .85,
    MaxTrac Spindles,
    1/4" Taco lean spacer.
ground to fender base: LF & RF: 40"'s
hub to fender base::::: LF & RF: 25"'s

    REAR:
    2012 OEM 3/1 leafs,
    Wheelers 3 leaf AAL,
    2" Tapered steel block.
    Bilstein F4-BE5-B110-T5
ground to fender base: LR & RR: 41"'s
hub to fender base::::: LR & RR: 26"'s

    I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THEM!

    Thank you Maxtrac Bob!

I did...that's the weird part, it's like the nut was tight, but the bolt seemed like it was longer than it was before, all I did was take the pin out and tighten it up and put the pin back in...so its good now

Hey guys, I got my maxtracs on last month. I have 285/70/r17 Toyo Open country AT2. With wheel spacers, Almost forgot

Seems like I've had to do a fair amount of trimming on the fender on both sides of the front fenders. Rear wheels are fine. Couldnt get a good picture of it right now, Ill try get a better angle later.

This look normal to you guys with my setup? I have to cut the hump off the bottom of the inner fender dust cover thing too.

You get more fender rub from having those spacers. When i was runnung 33's without spacers i rubbed, but not bad. I added spacers and rubbed so bad i had to do my CMC.

Ok, Yeah i was just curious. At full lock in reverse it rubs. Ill have the do CMC soon. i figured it was the wheel spacers thats giving me that extra rub.

I have a question for some of you guys. I am planning on upgrading to 885 coils with my billies but am still debating on going with the eibach and billies set at .85. Which ones should I go with? Leaning towards 885 but want to here what you guys with mantrac spindles say. Thanks! :D Plus I already ordered a hybrid bumper from SOS Offroad Concepts and might add a winch in the future.

Yeah that's what I was thinking that the ride would be much better with the 885 being softer and without the preload. Thanks!

Sweet! Hybrid or plate? I can't wait for mine either! Longest wait of my life! :D

I was thinking about doing the headlight hoops but with the regular center hoop but decided no but now I kinda wish I did it :( I think I'm going to bed line it. I read PC will just get messed up and hard to touch up unless its strictly for the road.

That's not a bad deal. Just sent him a pm thanks for the link :)

hehe yeah ive been wanting the hoops and stinger for awhile now, I was going to get one from bruteforce but I've been looking at eddy's stuff more and I like em :D.

I was thinking the same or use rattle can black...I dont really see a point in doing PC if I do a good bit of offroading and its just going to get scratched where rattle-can can just be touched up with a quick spray
