Brake lines!!!! Definetly the hardest. And not having a big enough jack... lol the brake lines took almost 2 hours. Probably 8 hours total because of that.

Alright. Ya I helped derrick do his and that was the hardest part.

How much farther do the wheels stick out vs stock?

Just the process of bleeding the brakes and unscrewing the lines since they are torqued on so tight.

I think the biggest problem for us was yes bleeding of the lines and those dam nuts on the brake lines being on so freaking tight. Also, there is no room on the back of the spindle where the nut goes onto the UCA. It was tight in there. But then again I did it on the truck cause my LR UCA's were already in there. So not much room there I still don't think we got that nut tight enough there is a like 1" gap between the spindle and UCA?? I guess we will try to tighten later on.

Use a swivel attachment on an impact gun and reconnect it first when putting on your new spindle. With nothing connected to the spindle but the UCA you can turn it substantially more and makes getting at that bolt a lot easier. The swivel on the impact gun is the key, all shops will have one.

As for the brake lines, flare end wrenches are the key, plain and simple. Having done brake lines on my Tacoma twice now, I can say that now I know the easy way to get the clips off by using the "shaft" of a screwdriver and prying them off using the metal head of the brake line as a fulcrum, and I have these wrenches, the brakes are easy.

I have the Eibach springs so I left the 5100's at 0. The drivers side is maybe 1/2" higher because of the "taco lean"

OK so with eibachs that's like 1.6 inches (preload lift) right?

Mine are at 1.75...i convinced my bro to sell me his eibachs and that i would.give him $100 for spindles when they became available..he agreed...so now.im just waiting for the top plate spacer to get here...i hope that setup gives me a bit more lift than the bils at 1.75....and a softer ride...its npt bad now, but im hoping its better with the eibachs and .85

The springs alone are supposed to give you 1.6".

I see. What is the measurement for the rear on yours? Center hub to the edge of the funder.

On the hub you have the studs... Back the 4 bolts out till the each push on the studs and it should just come out in your hand.
