    Not sure what size tires you plan on running but no one is going to see it on 35's So I would just spray them black.

    Not sure if there's a writeup for painting them & as far as painting the MT taping it off either way would work or do it like Jason did with touch up paint by hand.
    Very true but I'm running 285's for now & the MT can be seen.

    I really do wish I got the 285/75r16s over the 265/75r16s then my tires wouldnt look as tiny as they do now with my bumper on lol

    gimme some 315/75r16 Toyo M/Ts!!!!

    There are so many pages in here! That being said, anyone have a link to an install for these? Been thinking about getting some so I can run 35's with my bilsteins and for the rear replacing the 2" AAL with the all pro expo leaf pack. To install these though don't you just disconnect the control arms and pull out the stock spindle and replace it with the maxtrac?

    For the most part yes but there are some other details with the install like cutting the brake line bracket & rotating the tie rod 180°.

    In that case, I may have the shop I'll buy them through do the install. I don't have the tools for that. For those with Bilstein 5100's, what do you have them set to? I don't want to keep them at 2.5" and have 7" of lift cause that'll be a rough ride and may blow the shocks, but I would like maybe 5-5.5" of lift

    Ah you caught it be for I edited. I went through a different pdf viewer on my phone and the images were better. It looks like a spacer was in the lower part but when I got a better zoom it was all the factory bump stop

    A few things
    Prob the 1.75 setting if you want that much lift. Thats what i had mine set to when i put my spindles on. I was worried it would be too high but it was just what i wanted. Had a 2" block and aal in rear. It was about an inch lower then what im at now.

    Install was easy with just hand tools, nothing special with the exception of a torque wrench. I have my 5100's set at 1.75 & the ride is pretty good, not too stiff. After the install it was pretty level but since the front settled it's a little low up front, I may adjust them to 2.5.
    I don't see any difference in yours being set at 2.5 without spindles & with the spindles. The ride shouldn't change.

    I was gonna say that it was the steering stop/ ball joint part, just wanted to be sure of what you were talking about. I couldn't remember any spacers.

    Has anybody powdercoated their spindles?? I just got a set that have some surface rust and are dirty so im thinking about getting them powdered and get some sheet metal to bolt and block where the bearing/hub goes in. or maybe ill just hit it with some rattle can like earlier in this thread
