Maxtrac Spindle Lift for 2nd Gen Prerunners

Lift it a lil more and with a lil trimming you should be ok.

 

Anyone have pics of how they trimmed the plastic fender pieces. Dont want to cut and it look dumb

 

Do they need to do some more on caster or this ok. My truck isn't level so maybe it could be throwing off the specs

 

I always tell them to try to get my specs to this:
Camber: 0
Caster: 2.8 (2.5-4.0)
Toe: 0

It's a lot different then factory alignment specs but i guess for lifted trucks with bigger tires this is whats desired.

 

Thanks rick. Ive called them and they said to bring it in and they will see if they can get the numbers to 0 0 2.5

 

Just my 2 cents here.... Setting toe at 0 would make the steering a little sluggish... Usually you want to set it 1/8th in because at speed the tires have drag on them and the toe will be at 0... When it starts at 0 then at speed the tires will be a little toed out... Just an idea..... Thanks

Anyone have photos of their truck with just a spindle lift and 31" all terrains? Looking to set my 5100's back to 0, and purchase spindles for a nicer ride. Want to make sure there wont be too much wheel gap with the smaller tires.

 

There will be ALOT of wheel gap lol. I was on 32's and it looked funky to me. Even now, every so often I look at the truck and think the 33's still look a little small.

 

I switched from 31s to 33s after I got my spindles and I still thought the 33s looked small. Now I'm runny 35s with glass and I feel like I need 37s

 

Here's mine, I have 265/75r16 terra graps which they equate to about a 31.5" tire. My ICON coilovers are set to damn near nothing, so the spindles are giving me about 98% of my lift

It honestly looks funny with the tiny tires lol, I want 35s to fill the space haha

ya lol, they looked decent when I had my old rough country spacer lift on since that was about a 2.75" lift. But they just look soooo small now lol. Especially with my hybrid bumper on lol....damnit I want those 35s...i just dont have any money right now for em haha

Anyone have any tips on how to remove the old brake lines? I'm stuck on this part right now while installing the spindles. Thanks!

 

You using a line wrench? If they are stuck try soaking the fittings in liquid wrench or some type of lubricant.

Matt and others running 35s whats your specs on the front. Ive decided when I get new tires it will be 35s so ill need to go alittle higher.

Im on 5100s now set at 1.75 thanks

 

The 4" spindles, bilstein 5100 shocks set at 0, OME 885 springs that give 3" of lift, and a 1/4" top spacer lift that gives 1/2" of lift
