Should I run OME 885 coils on 5100's with LR UCA's or just get a set of Maxtrac's on 5100 with stock coils and LR UCAs? Ive got 16 in MB Vortex wheels, so the back spacing should be enough.

What are everyone's thoughts, any feedback would be great.

I'd go with maxtracs. I found the 885s on 5100s to be a bit stiff. stock coils and 5100s should be alot better

trd seat covers, bed mat, tinted windows, debadged, mud flaps removed, tinted tails, blacked out center console, Black Rims, 6000k HID in highs and fogs, blacked out front emblem, Pioneer AVH-4300DVD, Gauge Cluster, lower valence, retrofitted, audio system, Maxtrac Spindles, Billies
I ran the maxtracs on 5100 with both stock coils as well as 884's. The 884's with the 5100s at 0 were stiffer than stock coils and 5100's. But when I went to the 885's and 5100s I also removed the sway bar.

    A few things
Maxtracs are a perfect starting point as it keeps the stock geometry. You can always go higher if you want in the future (springs, coilovers, etc).

Alfuh- You have Maxtracs right? I didnt see them in your mod list.

Any of you guys with JUST a 4" spindle lift run stock brake lines? I plan to lift my truck only as much as the spindles will let me, no more lift from coils etc, but im wondering if i can get away with using stock brake lines.

Maxtracs usually come with brake lines. I don't think you can use them with stock lines, if you droop out you could lose brakes lol. You can probably install without extended lines, i dont know for sure, but brake lines are pretty cheap. I know a couple streets that I bounce hard on and probably droop out on. Don't cut corners when it comes to safety items like that lol. Don't wanna see anyone in the news like that :(

The brakes really aren't all that hard to install. The tedious part is it being a 2 person job to get the brakes bleed properly. Make sure you have a flare nut wrench for the brake lines...or else you're gonna round off the nuts and not be able to take off or put on new lines.

iirc all it is, is pop out the metal "C" clip unscrew the flare nut and take off the old line and do that to both ends. Screw on the new line and then pop in the "C" clip to all ends and then bleed the brakes and you are good to go! Not sure if I forgot anything....it's been awhile since I did my brake lines
