Hate to interupt the topic at hand, but just got my lift finished up. Thanks to nfs257 and everyone else here on TW for the advice and lessons learned.

What I installed was a 2'' AAl in the back w/ 5100 Extended shocks along with Maxtrac spindles in the front. Everything else is stock. I haven't gotten any numbers on height, but I love the look of it.

Right now im rockin 265/70/18 General Grabbers on some 18'' Millanni rims. I don't really like the rims, just got a good deal on em. I got the brand new tires and the rims for 550 on craigslist. I plan on runnin XD hoss' in the future. And I'm thinkin those front mudflaps have to go, just looks weird. Tell me what ya think..

    Looks tough!!!
Thats almost what I'm planning on doing, I'm gonna do Maxtrac spindles on front and 3" leaf Pack on the rear, I like the rear to be just a tad higher (PreRunner stance is what Ive heard a couple people call it on this forum)
Would love to know your numbers...

I would consider nose high a prerunner stance...hence desert runners are nose high...the term ur looking for would be the 'stink bug' stance :D

Stink bug haha. Thats how mine looked when I got done with the rears and had to drive around until the UPS guy dropped off the spindles. I prefer level. which I think I was able to obtain for the most part. Wasn't sure how the AAL was gonna match up with the 4 inches from the spindles, but I like it.

PreRunner Stance referring to Toyota PreRunners, My stock PreRunner measures 20.5" in front and 22" in the rear.

HOLD UP! A 2inch AAL with these spindles will not look overly nose high??

Not if you do the math per what he just posted... Should be 24.5 front and and 24 rear...

I really have no idea except the pictures though.

Ya from the looks of his truck it looks great but I always thought a 3inch rear was the minimum for spindles. The main reason I didnt buy earlier was because I would have needed to replace my leaf pack but if I can get away with a 2inch AAL Im all over this!

Yea, i mean right now it's perfectly even. Exact look I was looking for. I gotta get my new numbers but basically in my head I did the math just as nfs stated and realized it should be even. I tried looking for other members running stock front with spindles and a 2'' AAL but couldn't find anyone. I decided to just try it out and go from there and I was pleasantly surprised. All the lift I was looking for and even. Pretty cheap lift kit if you ask me haha.

Ya definitely I am not considering buying when the next batch comes out and doing the exact same. Is the rear stiff at all? and what brand AAL did you go with Toytec?

To be honest I have only ridden it from my house to work and back (about 10 miles total), but it doesn't feel stiff. It actually rides really nice. similar to stock, just higher haha.

And I went with a tough country 2'' AAL. I was looking at a couple different brands, but I couldn't really find a huge difference between them. The only difference I saw was price....the tough country was 50 bucks so I went with that.
