I just bought some 35's, how much do I have to take out of the cab to make these things fit? Im running about 1" of preload from my coilovers so I'm sitting at about 5" of lift up front. I might raise it up a little higher once I get my all pro leaf springs. Can somebody post some pictures of your cab mount chop with spindles?

Members I need your input. Just got my lift installed, maxtracs 884 coils in front and extended billsteins, back is 1.5-2 in add a leaf, 3 in block and extended billsteins. Getting aligned today bc the front is way off, but the major concern is how the truck is bouncing and stiff! To make this ride better should I go to 2in block or remove add a leaf, or keep just the 3 in block. Should the front come down to soften and remove the 884 coils? Will all this settle some? When It came down off lift the truck barely moved at all and the ride is bad. Stock tires are on now, going to 285 70 17s Saturday hopefully! I have stock ucas and hope to keep it that way. My pics are in my pic list. Thanks in advance! Just need some insight on how to soften the ride, Im stressing out over all the back and forth shop hopping!

The front coils should soften up after a lil driving since they are new. You did set your 5100's in front on 0 correct?

Hey guys, I have read through almost 70 pages on this thread and my eyes are starting to cross.
I need a little help with set up. I currently have about a 2 1/4" rake and I want to level the truck with Maxtrac spindles.
I have been working with headstrong offroad and I am simply planning on doing the spindles with new billies 5100 adjustable set at zero up front (stock coils), and Billy 5125s in the rear with 2" blocks. According to headstrong it will level out, but I want to hear thoughts from the masses who actually have spindles on.
Also, I am getting new rims with 4.5" BS and I know that will work perfect with the spindles, but my question is with how much spindles kick out the tires even with proper BS? Will I need spacers in the rear to match the kickout in the front? Or will there actually not be any kickout if I have proper BS?
Thanks in advance for any help/insight.

So if you're currently 2 1/4" rake in the rear, adding maxtracs will make you 4" in the front, add the 2" block to the rear will make you 4 1/4" in the rear. Probably won't be able to see the difference.

As for the spindles, they will push your tires out .75 (3/4").
If you want the back to match perfect, you'll need to install .75" wheel spacers just on the rear.

I have .75" Bora spacers on mine in the rear and they stick out perfectly even.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for the pics to help visualize the lift and the exact info on the tires. Exactly what I needed.
I think, based on the pic you showed, I may go for spindles with .85 on the front billies and 3" blocks in the rear.
Do you know the size on your buddies tires (red truck)?

Does anyone know if you can install 4" maxtrac spindles in conjunction with a 3" pro comp coil spring lift without replacing any other suspension parts?
