Anyone have bad vibration issues while braking after the spindle install?

Steering wheel shakes pretty bad only when braking.. Just put new pads and rotors on a few months back so i don't think its a warped rotor..

Usually if it's when you are braking it's the rotors being warped. Even though they are new, there is still a possibility they got warped. I'd at least get them checked just in case

You did get an alignment afterwards right? Amd made sure everything is tight? That's honestly the only thing I can think of the shaking when braking

Ya i got her aligned and all that. Everything's tight...

I've had that shake before from a warped rotor and this feels very similar just amplified. Just weird that it started happening right after i lifted..

Those coils are horrible, if you have them I'm sorry to hear that, if you were planning to buy them STAY AWAY.

The spring rate on those Pro Comps coils is 718 lbs, thats more than the OME 886 coils which are designed for a 4X4 (weighs about 230 lbs more up front than a 2wd) with a steel plate bumper and winch. Running those on a Prerunner you'll be lucky to get them to flex at all and the ride would be beyond horrible.

If I were you and wanted more lift beyond the spindles I'd go with the OME 885 coils and pick up a set of Light Racing UCAs to ensure your alignment is on the mark.

Thats the exact setup ive got on my front right now. Any suggestions on a good rear? Budget is pretty tight which is the only reason I havent jumped on spindles yet :(

Budget lift for rear = Blocks or AAL or Block/AAL combo. Combo needed will depend on the lift height and stance you're trying to achieve.

Having limited cash and wanting to lift a truck never really works out IMO. If you don't have the funds I say leave it stock and use your money where its needed most, not on stuff you technically can't afford (thats the dad in me coming out ). If you have the funds or for some I should credit :p do it right and be done.

Personally just the spindles alone will provide a nice look and a comfortable ride. A 3 leaf progressive AAL with the overload in should level you out nice. You do this and run some decent shocks and honestly that right there is a pretty darn good set-up cost and quality of ride wise.

Thats my thought also, Ive got a good solid lift right now with my 885's UCA's and rear set up. Just gonna save for Dakars and spindles and 35's all at once haha

Are there any threads or videos someone posted for the install? It seems pretty easy but just for some clarification

So you could install a pair of spindles and a leaf pack for the rear and leave everything else stock? UCA, brake lines, etc...

You could do just the spindles up front (they come w/ longer brake lines for front), there's no need for UCAs unless you plan to gain additional lift from coils, spacers, coilovers, adjustable shocks.....

I've heard the exact same thing from a buddy (k9cop). He had the Pro comp coil overs when he first lifted his truck and said they almost rattled his teeth out.
