    No I haven't tried them, I have the 5100's for a 3-4" lift. I've had them for a little over a year & have had no problems.
    I've never ordered from downsouth but they seem to have good prices & like Taco Nation said a lot of people like & trust them here on TW.

    Aren't you running 5.5" of lift in the rear. How do the shocks like that. I'd like to go up to 5.5" and have the same shocks and was worried about over extending them.

    No problems so far, haven't over extended them at all. Not even out on the trails. DSM says 3-4" lift but Wheelers Offroad says 4-5"
    When I had just 2" blocks with the stock shocks they'd over extend & top out every day. Haha

    That's good to hear. I'd imagine they'd be fine as long as you don't jump the truck. I may be getting a 1.5" block to go with my all pros to level it

    What do you have your 5100's set at? When I get these spindles I would like to keep the lift as low as possible to fit 35's. Basically, I don't want to be at 7" of lift and have a horrible/stiff ride.

    I got them set at 1.75 but also have Toytec 1/4" spacers on both sides. So that's about 2.25" plus 4" from the spindles & I still rub when I have people in the truck. Mainly on the cab mount at full lock. I want to adjust them up to 2.5 so I'll be 7" total & see if that helps with the rubbing.

    FWIW at 7" or a little over that on 285's and spidertrax rubbing is not even thought of. I did trim for 4" then went to 7" so that could help.

    Yeah when I had 285's they didn't rub & I just had the spindles & at at 1.75, so like 5.75"

    I figure with the spacers they swing more like a 315 without spacers :notsure: it rubbed pretty hard at 4" before trimming and after trimming at 4" only rubbed backing out of my driveway at full lock.

    That's how mine is right now. Every once in awhile it will rub backing out at full lock when it's just me but if I have the truck full of peeps then it will do it more times than not. The extra weight compresses the suspension just enough so they rub so I figured max the 5100's out which is another 3/4" & than should help.

    My current setup is 5100's all around without the top plate spacer, LR UCA's, a 1.5" AAL, and wheels aith a 4.5" bs. I have a cab mount chop and did some very minor trimming on the bumper and fender liners and my 285's don't rub at all. I plan on slowly redoing my suspension. First up are the spindles, then all pro 3" leaf pack, and then some fox or icon 2.5" coilovers.

    You already have the cmc done & that's mainly where mine rubs. There & occasionally on the plastic liner in the front on the bottom.

    Hey guys if I was to run Maxtrac spindles could I run 33/12.5 without hitting the spindle? The rims would be 20x10 with a -24 offset with a 4.5" back spacing.

    Guys having some difficulty with the front brake lines. I tried the top connection first with a 10mm flare nut and it started to strip so I stopped. Does the clip need to be removed at the bracket first? Its the u-shaped clip silver color. Does the hard side turn or flex side of the line? I noticed on the new lines its the flex side that is tightened on.....Thanks!

    Also what are you guys doing to slow the brake fluid from coming out while you switch it out?

    I didn't have any trouble getting mine loose. It's that flex side that loosens & I just switched it as fast as I could, no way to really stop it cause you can't crimp the hard lines or anything like that.
    Just switch them as fast as you can & refill the reservoir.

    No problem, another little tip is to connect the top or reservoir side first & then the caliper side. That way gravity will kinda fill the new line & it won't have so much air in it when you bleed them, if that makes sense.
