I really like this whole entire package. How much better would you say the ride is after replacing the shocks and coils and redoing the back end??
    Nice

It's still a little bumpy but I'm attributing that to the wheel rotation. Should balance out soon. Otherwise it soaks up any bump on the highway. Now for the final test... :mudding:

I know I'm new here, but I've been lurking this thread for a while. Planning on doing spindles, 5100s up front set at 0, fox 2.0 piggyback in the rear with icon AAL this weekend.

Hopefully I'll pick up some fox 2.5s for the front and all pro leaf pack for the rear eventually. I see you guys are using driveshaft spacers which seem like an awesome idea.

But, here's where I'm confused. If you are not limiting up travel somehow. Does this not cause the driveshaft to slam into the tail housing under full bump in the rear? I'm sure there must be something I'm missing. Is there that much extra forward play already? Sorry for the huge post I just have horror pictures in my mind of trans fluid and chunks of metal everywhere hahaha but I'm sure someone will set me straight.

    Working on it now....UNDER CONSTRUCTION
The driveshaft spacer is dependent on individual lift setups. I have no spacer or carrier bearing drop. My driveshaft only protrudes from the housing 5/16 to 3/8 inch. My truck runs smooth. Now I do know that when I installed the Dakar Leaf pack the driveshaft wanted to drift backwards so we had to move it back where it needed to be. This may be an issue with aal or blocks as the geometry may change with that setup causing the driveshaft to move out. Just guessing on this based on my research, and experience. If you keep the lift with the least amount of individual parts it should yield the best results.

I am approaching 20000 miles on this setup and so far I couldn't be happier. I have even tire wear, no vibration, no drift, and the truck drives like it is on rails.

This is how mine looked after the rear was lifted. The spacer just puts it back where it belongs & as @sgtnewundies said the spacer size will depend on lift. Also up travel can be shortened by installing longer bump stops.
I've been running mine with the spacer for over 30k miles with no problems.

That pic isnt the spacer but I got the 1.5" spacer.
This is the spacer, it goes in between the flanges of the driveshaft & rear end.

Now there's no scientific proof to this but it seems like for every 2" of rear lift the driveshaft pulls out about a half inch. When I had my first lift with 2" blocks that's about how much it was out but I never had a driveshaft spacer & didn't have any vibes or problems. Now at 5.5" it pulled out 1.5". So if you're only doing 2 to be level with the spindles you may be ok without one.
Maybe someone lifted 2" in the rear will chime in. Maybe @sgtnewundies ?

How much lift do you have in the back??
I'm looking to purchase whatever I need tomorrow for my budget spindle lift.

@SpruceTaco you think 2inch blocks will level me out? With all stock everywhere except the spindles?
