Sooooo.... anyone having major issues getting good alignment numbers after installing maxtracs? With 5100s set at 0 I was under the assumption that my suspensions geometry would be much closers to stock than my previous 2" spacer lift.
Local shop had my truck from1:00pm and closes at 6. They asked to keep it overnight. From what I gather is they can get my camber to 0 but caster is below 1. They also had to re set my steering hub.
I've searched and searched, and read most of this thread. Nobody else seems to have this problem.
The guy working the counter seems very knowledgeable, and has a lifted tacoma himself. Its likely he is a member here at TW.

I have the spindles + 5100's set @1.75 & 1/4" top plate spacers. Had no problems with getting it aligned. So that sounds kinda odd, the spindles are supposed to keep the factory geometry.

That's what I told them. The response I got was yeah, but it's not. I'm wondering if something got goofed up during install but I don't see how that's possible. The LCAs were never off the truck. And there is only one way to bolt the damn spindles up... I have no idea what to do lol

I've seen people not turn their tie rods 180° but don't know if that would cause problems with the alignment.

Tie rods are definately on top. If it doesn't get sorted by tomorrow, I'm considering just trying one of the race shops in Phoenix. She'll have to be towed there but at least I'll be dealing with people who specialize in modified suspension.

    Working on it now....UNDER CONSTRUCTION
No drive shaft vibes. The front sits about 1 inch lower than the front. The vehicle gets pretty heavy use so if something wasn't right it would drive me to the nutty farm and that is also due to OCD. I will try to get some new pictures up by next week.

The hard part with anything suspension is usually getting ball joints to unseat without damaging themy. Just take your time and if you have an older truck pre-soak them with pb blaster.
The abs line gave me a bit of trouble. Make sure that your suspension is at full droop when you run the clamps down. That way it will not get ripped out.
Other than that install is pretty easy.

My upper ball joints came right out with a hit to the side of the spindle with a hammer & the lowers unbolt so no worries there. It's really as simple as just changing parts out. Just remember to rotate the tie rods 180°.
