I haven't seen that truck in years. If I remember correctly, in the front it had Maxtracs and 5100's on Eibach coils and extended brake lines. The rear was a Dakar leaf pack, extended brake lines, 5100 rear shocks, and a U-bolt flip kit. Giving the front about 7" of lift and the rear around 5". The tires were Treadwright Guarddogs 305/70/17 on Ballistic Jesters.

Even though it was a Pre-runner, I wheeled the hell out of it. Had a ARB air locker in the rear with 4.56 gears.

Enjoyed it for a long time, but eventually had to get a 4x4.

I've got maxtracs on mine with fox 2.0 RR front coilovers set at factory height (maybe 1/2" lift) and camburg uppers. Out back I have all-pro expos and fox 2.0's on 315/75r16 procomp mt2's. Planning on moving to 37's by spring.

I'd say extended brake lines or at least brackets to raise the factory ones so the don't get stretched.

Do yourself a favor and Give those things a good coat of rustoleum or paint of your choice. The spots where the ball joint and tie rod connect will rust later.

Or you can coat them with a couple of coats of clear. I did a wipe down with alcohol then coated with clear.

Paint everything including where the ball join and tie rod connect? I was thinking about painting them red with some caliper paint. Would that work?
