Ok, that you. How long did it hold up? Any issue with the paint being too thick in areas?

@ChadsPride I paint a everything & have had no problems. I tried not to paint where the bearing goes but got some over spray in there, was too lazy to tape it off. Haha

You think caliper paint would work? Or should i get some red type of paint that would work on both?

I don't see why not, I just used Rustoleum & it's held up fine, probably cheaper too. If you're already buying the caliper paint then try that.

Yeah that should look good, i know a that had his powder coated white to match his truck. I was gonna powder coat mine but the cost compared to spray paint is ridiculous not to mention his powder coating was cracking & rust was starting to bleed through. The big thing is to get them painted with something cause they're iron & will rust in no time.

Iron rusts if you look at it funny. Squinting too, squint then open your eyes and boom! Rust everywhere.

Sorry for late reply, some people work around here. :rofl:Chad, use whatever you want. As long as it's covered. I used 1 coat primer, 2 coats matte black, 1 final coat semi gloss. I used rustoleum however I hate the new nozels they use. Must be a Cali thing. As the others said tape off the bearing part. Blast the rest. Here's mine after 2yrs. I have OCD though and I constantly am wiping shit down.

Yeah I get shit for being so anal all the time. Nobody thinks my truck goes in the dirt. It's ok. And that pic was right after I put the new icons on. I also just made those fender skirts. Stock ones were hanging on with duct tape.

Not giving shit whatsoever. I always say it's not considered a problem until you are cleaning something that is clean already. And we all know (if you have OCD) that nothing is clean!!!!!
