Maxtrac Spindle Lift for 2nd Gen Prerunners

    No mods
    I just sprayed them with 1 coat primer and 3 coats semi gloss. Rustoleum. Doesn't matter what you use. The key is making sure to paint the spots that have no paint. Example: the top ball joint connection. And the tie rod connection. They will rust because it's bare metal there.

    I just used soap and a scrub brush. Did yours come with a bunch of black grease and dust and shit on em too?

    I didn't even see this until today, never got a notification or email. :notsure:
    Yeah that's what I used & it won't hurt to paint the whole spindle, I did. I wanted a good layer of protection. I cleaned mine with acetone. Just try not to get too much paint in the area where the bearing goes. You can mask it off if you want, I just didn't spray directly in there so I did end up with over spray in there.

    Definitely don't be like me and wait a year to paint them. I have to go back and paint everything under my truck from letting mud sit on it for weeks at a time. When I get time I'm stripping the truck down and going to town with some satin black.
