It'll be more pressure but it isn't a sketchy way to do it. Watch a few videos on it and if you think you're comfortable with it then go nuts.

I have no hesitation in recommending it as a method of coil fuckery. Works great.

We don't warranty products that are not manufactured under a name other then ours. For example Maxtrac, Bilstein, Light Racing, King, etc all warranty their own brand products. This is pretty industry standard. With that being said, if you ever need to open a warranty claim we are here to help regardless of time frame. We cover and warranty our own HeadStrong Off-Road branded products since we are the manufacturer of those. I posted this picture on this thread a long time ago. Here is the spindle I had brought to me. It was purchased from one of the fly-by-night companies on the internet. They were not around to help this customer when his truck was rendered useless due to the breakage.
What can get over looked is that any company can go out of business, we could, however the sole purpose of our business is not to sell sketchy products take peoples money, close up shop, and then a few weeks later open up another company under a different name and do it again and again. This is where Amazon and Ebay can really be questionable. There usually is no one to talk to, no one to help provide guidance, walk through the installation with, and sure as heck no one there to rely on when something like this happens. Now I am not saying that every seller on Amazon or Ebay is like that but I would say there is a great majority who are.
Me personally, if I wanted to buy a book Amazon or Ebay work, especially since we don't have any book stores in my town. But if I am going to be relaying on the product to get me to work, get my kids to school, or if I am on an off-road trail miles and miles from no where, I wouldn't go with a name of a product that no one has ever heard of from a company that has no history. Because things like this do happen and there is generally no one there to help you through it.

But in the end it is up to the person who is making the purchase. I totally understand and respect that.

Yeah I was referring to the spring having more pressure. Trying to envision how it will all go down. At what point do i start loosening center nut in correlation to jacking up the lower control arm?

Sorry, I meant removing the coil without a compressor with it being set at 2.5 rather than 0. Is there a lot more pressure on it?

There's more tension in the coil with it compressed that much, but it's not any more dangerous than if the coil was less compressed.

It's captured on the shock body until the tension is removed, and the floor jack is preventing it (solidly) from being a danger.

Help! I have developed a chatter in the left side, louder when turning right increasing pressure. Stops on braking. I inspected everything only thing I could find is the spindle was loose on the bottom where it attaches to steering stop. I re torqued those. Also torqued sway bar link, tie rod, and tried to tighten the upper ball joint connection. My tires are worn and I do have some vibration from wear but I don't know about this chatter that started today. It increase frequency with speed until it is just a constant click. It is loudest at slow speeds and turning right. Can not duplicate turning wheel by hand.
Inner and outer tie rods seem ok and tight.

I went ahead and used a locking nut on all the bolts with my spindles.

I didn't like the way the nuts fit the bolts that came in the hardware pack

Sounds like you checked everything, do you have play in the wheel when you jack it up? Possible wheel bearing?

No play that's what is weird and no sound turning by hand, only when vehicle is rolling.

    Still likely a wheel bearing.
