Check your upper ball joint and do a once over. Also make sure you flipped the racket pinion to point down and not facing up like it was on the stock spindle.

When I removed the coil / shock using a jack on lca, i only had to remove the center nut from the top. Didn't have to touch the 3 others. Does that have anything to do with the way the coil sits ?

Sorry for the delay. was a cars and coffee event and my notifications were turned off.

Did you move the top plate from the old strut over the billies?

Top plate stayed in when I pulled shock assembly off, adjusted billies, then jacked up LCA with lower shock mounted and when thread maxed out on top plate tower, I reinstalled the nut, bushing, washer.

Just got the alignment done and it's driving 100% better. I'll trying to replicate the clunk, to see when exactly it does it. I could look over everything before alignment b/c it's pouring here and I need to be able to drive to work in a few hours

Sometimes when they align it they won't tighten the cam tabs enough and that could cause a noise

Can you elaborate on this ? "4 inches is the biggest lift without messing suspension geometry". Are you talking about the spindles? Isn't the selling point that they do not? On a stock truck I believe going above 2.5" would throw the geometry off. But anything beteeen 4" spindles and additional 2.5" should be fine, no? I set my billies to .85 so should have 4.85" total and had alignment today no issues.

Hey guys I'm about to pull the trigger on the kit minus the blocks and shocks. Gonna be running headstrong's 3 leaf aal and 5100's around. I just have two questions for you guys:

Is the carrier bearing drop nessessary if I'm only lifting the rear only 2 inches?

The 65x65x10 spacer is correct for my truck?

I would just skip the AAL and get Dakars.

Also, I would recommend the CB Drop personally.

It helped mitigate my take off vibe. Can't even tell anymore

Thanks for the reply Chad. I wish I could get the dakars lol. Maybe later along the road. And cool I'll pick up the cb drop then. Was I right on the size of the spacer?

It's a carrier bearing drop. Basically correct some of the drive shafts angle, helping the vibration you get from lifting the rear.

Really a simple part but we'll worth the money.

Was about to answer then saw this post. Yeah that was referring to one of the biggest selling points, you can get 4" without messing up the geometry.

My first lift had 2" in the rear & I didn't have a carrier bearing drop & had no vibes that doesn't mean yours wont. The ome one doesn't cost much so you could buy one, test it without the drop & if it's good return the drop or sell it on here, if it's not good then you can install the drop.
There is 2 different pinion flanges on these trucks, 65x65x10 & 66x66x11. It can be kinda hard to measure so I would order the 65x65x10 because it will work either one but the 66 will only work with the 66. That being said with only 2" you may not even need a ds spacer, mine was only pulled out about .5" & like I said no vibes.
