    Center of the hub/wheel up to the fender, this is the most accurate way to measure since something as simple as a tire with low air pressure can make a difference if you measure from the ground.

    Yes the 6.5" kit...do you have any shop recommendations where I could get it installed around Tampa? I'm impatient and want it on asap bit not trying to inconvenience guys just because I can't wait...I got everything besides the strut spacers since I already have some on...and she threw in the RCD Bilstein 5100 extended rear shocks...now I'm thinking about adding new spacers and selling the ones I have on there what do you think? Should I get 5100s for the front too? This may sound dumb but I want to see if I'm understanding this right, so after the lift is on I'll be able to determine the drive shaft spacer length needed, order it, put it on, then get an alignment? If so, is the truck still drivable while I'm waiting on the ds spacer?

    Personally I'd get 5100's & get rid of the spacer all together. The driveshaft doesn't have anything to do with the front so you can still get an alignment. You can still drive it if it isn't pulled out too much. If it's pulled out too much you can mess up your carrier bearing, I did & in just one (40 mile round trip) trip to work. It pulled to rubber out of the metal ring & started making noise. But mine was pulled out 1.5".
    I don't really know of any shops.

    Been hearing a knocking noise on full lock when I pull into or out of parking spaces. Went and got it looked at today and the guy said it's just wear and tear of having a big lift and tires. Said something about the tie rods and the sway bar linkings being worn. Also said the LCA needed to be tightened. Does that sound right? He tightened the LCA and a few other bolts and the truck hasn't made the noise since, but I haven't really tried to replicate it.
