Actually planning on doing it tomorrow. I haven't gotten my spindles yet, I was told last week, this week, then by end of day yesterday. Just waiting on the call and I'll be picking them up. So if I get them today I'll be doing the install solo tomorrow morning... Rear AAL is already installed so just spindles tomorrow... If I start at 7am think I can finish by 1230? I got a dr appt at 1 :/

I believe suspension specialists has them cheaper, through their ebay store.

Yeah my issue with having to get them done though is the fact that I am selling my stock wheels/tires on Sunday :/ damn maybe I'll see if there is an opening for a later appointment... Hmm

There is absolutely no way you will Finnish by 1 if you are working by yourself. It took me half the day with help. That and you have to get a pickle fork to separate the stock uca ball joint and the stockas tie rod ball joint. Me and Manwithoutaplan can help you. We have done 4-5 of these spindles.

Ya. I hit mine with wd40 the day before so they come off really easy. We weren't rushing that's why it took a while.

Ok I'll be hitting my brake lines with wd-40 today and once more tonight... The instructions don't call for a pickle fork. And I havent read of any write ups that required this. Shit this sucks. Would it be possible to finish by 3pm??

Also my truck has 5k miles on it... So nothing should be too rusted/too stuck in place I'm hoping. But I haven't even gotten a call about my spindles yet so I doubt I'll be able to do them tomorrow. This is frustrating!

Anyone address the surface rusting on their spindles? I wish I hit the machined spots with a spray can before putting them on, doesn't seem worth it to take the UCA joint off to just paint it....or did anyone just mask around and spray it? The rusting is not bad, just turned the flat spot under the UCA brown...
