What has everyone thought about ride after installing OME leaf packs. Also what is the general consinsius between bilstein and fox shocks. I am trying to figure out best ride for my truck. If I understand correctly bilstein will give much better rides on the road but won't perform as good in the bumps at high speeds due to the valving. I drive primarily in the city

@ChadsPride I run 285 general reds. i have already switched my fn five star 3.5bs -25 offset out for their 0 offset version. The -25 was too much for offroading even with trhe spindles. I would be cautious as those will stick out even further. i mean they will fit on your truck but you will need to drive like a lowered Honda, or run 265s

I have a random question. My 2008 DC currently has toytec adjustable coilovers on it. My spindles will be arriving Thursday from Headstrong. When I installed my coilovers in 2008 I also installed a sway bar relocation bracket that, if I remember correctly shifted the sway bar forward. Should I remove it and put the sway back to stock position since I'll be removing the toytec coilovers and reinstalling the OEM coilovers when installing the spindles. Just looking for advice. And yes I'm keeping my sway bar on the truck.

Why are you taking off the toytecs? if you are removing them then the relocation bracket should be removed as well. the spindal doesn't change the geometry of the suspension so the sway bar can stay in stock location

They are way too stiff of a ride. Gonna sell them too if anyone is interested.

do this first! lower the coilovers back down to stock height, you'll get all your rideability back. I did this when I installed my maxtracs and I haven't gone back. my truck sits at the perfect height and my ride is great

What do you gain by lowering an aftermarket coilover back to stock over using stock coilover? I never off-road. Looks only and I gotta clear my 285/75r16's

rideability, an aftermarket shock will ride better than a stock coilover

With your current setup does the rear sit lower than the front?

You did dakers in the back with bilstein shocks and in the front only spindles right?

In the front I did the Maxtrac 4" spindles and 2016 TRD OR shocks and coils (those gave me the extra inch)

And full Dakar leaf packs in the rear with extended length Bilsteins.

Also Extended brake lines front and rear. The key came with the fronts, HeadStrong sold me the rear (along with my entire lift package, both brake lines matched perfectly which was a small bonus for me)

All Pro Ubolt flip kit in the rear with Timbren bump stops and Timbren bump stops up front as well.
