I swapped the rear blocks for Dakars

Front rides great, after alignment...I would say mine tracks better than stock

    Zero complaints

I agree, once I swapped in the rear Dakars ~ I'm sold 100%. Keep in mind the front remains "stock" (suspension and geometry) the spindles simply move the hub down 4", thus creating 4" of lift...

I feel I need a little more tire (likely, 285's)

I just got a set of 5 Nitto trail grapplers 285/65/18 for $500 on craigslist! Will they rub or require trimming for the 4 inch kit?

Maybe need light trimming on the inside of the fender

    Thats a smoking deal man!!!!

Also, rubbing will depend on the offset/backspace of your wheels

The further out the poke, the more potential for rubbin

Should be good to go with the spindles

Do you have a lift on now?

If you do....you will have that lift height plus the 4" from the spindles

Thanks. I just want to know what I'm getting myself into as far as chopping and welding on the body mounts. With a 4.75 backspaced rim, do you think there will be much need for trimming?

You may need to trim some of your inner fenders and some of your flares
