He went with almost 5+ degrees of caster (0 camber/toe), which i was intially concerned about. But I guess its fine, as the wheels are directly in the middle of wheel well, do not hit cab mount, and only bareeeely touch inner black plastic in the front of fender when turning/braking at same time

So I misspoke, it's at almost 6 degrees of caster. That's the most I've seen... it drives awesome and doesn't rub, I think this why he went that high, to prevent me from rubbing, which I anticipated.

Maybe I should call him and have him bump it down a bit?IMG_5091.jpg

Maybe try a carrier bearing drop kit

It mitigated my take off vibe to something only I can really 'notice'

Thought Id chime in on this thread and see if any one is having the same issue as I am, has anyone had any vibration from the drive shaft when you accelerate pretty hard? I just put the lift on about 2 weeks ago and ive noticed a slight vibration. I didnt do a drive line drop cause maxtrac said it wasn't necessary, but im picky and Id like to catch it before it becomes a problem. Im running the BFG'S like everyone else 285/70/17

Thats what I was considering but the one I purchased seemed like it was over kill it was 3/4" to 7/8" spacer so i was thinking to my self if maxtrac is telling me i dont need one then 3/4-7/8 is way to much. So im thinking i may just take a couple 1/8" washers and stick them in there. Any thoughts, let me know if anyone thinks thats a horrible idea.

Washers will work as long as you don't stack like 10 on each side but doing a few per side will be fine

Also, the driveline vibes would be due to lifting the rear, not the front. So depending on how high you lifted the rear, that could help. I only have 1.5" in the rear which is probably why I have almost no vibrations. Once I go higher, I'll probably have to do cb drop and or ds spacer.

***edit - just realized this was stated above lol

    @ensaladas- Awesome truck!

I've just order a Maxtrac 4" spindle lifit for my 2015 TRD Sport, I was wondering if you can tell me how the ride quality is? I mostly want to know how it handles speed bumps, currently I have 6112 on the 4th notch and when going over speed bumps the rebound is more than I care for. I'm hoping that the spindles will let me go over speed bumps like stock suspension. As far as everything else I'm I really enjoying the 6112.

What size tires are you running, I have BFG KO2 265/70/17 on 17x9 rims, I know it will stick out another .75"? Are your tires rubbing?

Thanks buddy. As long as you bump those 6112s back down when the maxtracs go on, your ride quality will return. That's the beauty of this kit, everything stays the same, assuming your not also running lift coils or raising the setting on the bilsteins. I'm on 285/70/17 and I really don't rub at all. Partially because I was able to get almost 6+ degrees of caster to get them off the cab mount, but every truck and alignment tech is different. Do you have upgraded UCAs?

I have LR UCAs. I'm intending to drop down to the lowest notch on the 6112s. Really like your darkened headlights and tail lights.

    Need feedback

I just ordered 4" Maxtrac Spindles, I currently have Bilstein 6112 and will be setting the notch to the lowest however it will provide a 1" lift and the kit comes with Fox 2.0 for rear shocks. In the rear I have 1.25" block and will be adding an AAL so if my math is correct, fronts will be 5" and the back 2" factory rake, 1.25" block and 2" from AAL- 5/14".

I'm now starting to think would going with Fox 2.0 coilovers in the front be worth the extra $$$? I don't off road if I happen to do it will be mainly on a dirt road or construction job site. If I go with the Fox 2.0 coilovers in the front then I could remove the 1.25" block and just have the AAL and factory rake 4" front and 4" rear.

Just wondering how the ride will be between the 2 scenarios?

I'm planning to sell the Bilstein 6112 and 5100 to help offset this new lift.

IIRC the 6112's are a 2.65" shock body and a 3/4" shaft. The fox 2.0's obviously have a 2" shock body and 5/8's shaft. Those numbers are off the top of my head so feel free look them up to double check that. I would stay with the 6112's if I were you. Yes the fox's will allow you to go lower but to me that would be a down grade.
