Can I ask what difference you noticed between the AAL and Dakar’s? I don’t pull anything and rarely put any weight in the bed, just want to keep my truck level/slightly raked. Wanted to keep it under $1000 for everything and spindles + Dakar’s would be put me over that which is why I was leaning towards a 3-leaf progressive AAL.

The mods have probably changed since last update.
Appreciate the help guys! I already have Toytec coils and 5100's in the front (purchased the truck that way), so I'm afraid if I simply add maxtracs the lift will be too high. Which means at the end of the day, I'm probably going with 883's, 5100's (set at the lowest level), and maxtracs in the front with dakars and OME nitrochargers in the back :militarypress:

Think I should be considering anything else? And will this mostly equal a level ride? Again, thanks for all the help dudes!

Looks like ima have to spend more now to move up to a Full Dakar Leaf pack and RCD/Billies 5100...the squeaks are definetly from the leafs...just weird on why it didnt make a sound when i had the stock rims to now...oh well...

BTW someone chime in on what i should do to add an inch to the front...
currently sitting on spindles with stock coils and adjustable 5100's...wanna add it and not lose the comfortable ride...lmk

I got 2" in the rear with the 5100 and Headstrong 3AAL leaving the overload leaf on...

You could use the adjustability of the 5100s different clip settings.

Or add a .5" top plate spacer

Also could get some stock 3rd gen coils, they are 1" taller than 2nd gens and that's what I did

You should order bushings for the front end of the Dakars or they might squeak also

My stock springs squeaked like crazy

    Good job brother!!! :taco: :taco:
What coils did you go with? And I'm assuming Marie will take care of it but did you get longer Ubolts for the Dakars?

I went with the 883's, didn't want to go any higher than that with the tires I have. And I have been in contact with Marie, but did not order longer Ubolts specifically...may need to check with her to make sure those are included on the order. Thanks for the heads up on that!

Nice!!! That's going to be a sweet setup. I'm sure they are included looking back at the pic. It says "Dakar PKG"

Stoked to see how she comes out!

I remember the day like it was yesterday

Ahhh good question haha. I wish I could do it myself, but I am largely a rookie and do not have the tools or expertise. So I was thinking of taking it to a shop. But I live in Austin, TX so I may post in that thread and see if anyone there would be willing to help me install?? I could provide incentives  and I'd love to learn how to do something like this.
