I’ve heard the same. I had apidertraxx years ago but got rid of them. Probably pick up another set to even out the rears with the fronts. Thanks

Installed everything but the rear and am loving it so far!! I ran into a pretty major snag when doing the spindles though, so be aware. I had two of the four 5/8” nuts that were clearly the wrong thread pitch for the supplied 5/8 bolts. A quick stop at Lowe’s solved my issues. Those brake lines were no joke either! I also had to break out Señor Dremel and go to town in my wheel wells. I’m running 295/75r16s. I’ll eventually do the pinch weld and CMC if I notice any rubbing. Took her out for an hour drive through some back roads and she drives and handles perfect! Anyhow. Here are a few pictures of my girl so far. Before and after!
    What I’ve done:
    Replaced headlights
    Installed OEM roof rack
    Ditched grandpa running boards
    Tinted the fronts
    Ditched teneau cover
    Installed DRLs
    Installed exhaust
    Applied Tacomaworld sticker
    And installed 1/2 the lift.

Truck looks good!!! I didn't like the feel of a couple nuts and bolts that were supplied by MT so I replaced it all with new hardware during install.

    Alright gents,
Trying to solicit some expertise from you all. I've got an '06 TRD Sport (pictured) and I just installed my 4" Maxtracs and Biletein 5100s (set to 0) this past weekend and wrapped my Method NVs with 295/75-16s. After re-checking my work 5 times, bleeding the brakes and cutting inside my wheel wells, she's a dream to drive and feels like a pillow and doesn't pull to either side (note: I haven't raised the rear yet. Will be working it this weekend when I get time).

My concern is this...when driving anywhere over, say 65mph, the front end barely feels like it's connecting with the pavement. She feels like she wants to lift and get air-born. Is this because the front end needs to be aligned or is it because the stance is still in bro-mode? I kinda like the stance to be honest. I'd consider keeping it this way, but the smallest load I carry will have me looking like I'm smuggling immigrants. I appreciate any and all advice/wisdom/buffoonery you all can provide.

    Whoa!! Truck looks awesome!!!

You'll definitely want to get an alignment as soon as possible.

It'll take you a bit to get used to it, especially since you have such a dramatic change.

What kind of lift parts do you have for the rear?

My truck tracks better with the Maxtrac spindles. Feels weird to say but I think it's true.

Thanks! I've got two options for the rear since I have both. I've got 1.5" blocks and an ICON Progressive AAL. I'm definitely not combining them. Lol.

To be honest, I've never actually calculated it. Been wanting to get a scan gauge II so maybe I'll just do that

What I bought exactly, + fox rooster shields for protecting the piston. Buy from this link only though, this dealer is Fat Bob's Garage and they are awesome to work with.
These will fit perfectly for 4-6in, which is what I'm doing. Created some custom leaf packs and I've got an Archive Shackle flip kit with the 4in shackles which will get me that 1in of lift I need to sit right at 4in in the rear.

Lol your missing a few parts. You need 4 grade 8 bolts 5/8x11 3-1/4" with lock nuts and washers to bolt the lower ball joint on. The other stuff is for bolting the wire and lines to the spindle. I'm not sure what those bolts pictured are for but they're not for the maxtracs

So my pops worked in auto shops most of his adult life, most recently (before early retirement forced by cancer treatments) he managed a shop that did front end work, steering, alignments, differentials, etc. He always looks at my lifted Taco & shakes his head, preaches to me to be ready for failed tie rods, steering box, bushings...pretty much everything since "all my angles & geometry are fucked". I ask him if he ever got trucks that were spindle lifts, not just shocks or drop brackets or spacers. He just gets frustrated & says "it doesn't matter they're all the same, they all screw up your front end the same". I just say you're right pops, these spindles jack up all my geometry, good thing it's not your job to work on it

    Not a chance dad!!! :D
Gotta hand it to him though, both his PreRunners are in immaculate condition and run and drive great.
