    So far with the replies that I have gotten it looks like a 40% chance of getting some sort of vibration. Very weird how some trucks will and some trucks will not get them.

    shims...made it worse. the driveshaft is completely straight. i just blame it on not installing the driveshaft the way it came out after replacing the u-joints...bah, it hasn't bothered me enough to get it checked out...

    another thing, i had the shudder before the spindles...so i don't blame the vibes on the spindles.

    did you have any sort of rear lift before the spindles?

    when i was lifted 3" via front spacers and rear blocks...i had no vibes whatsoever...then i wet for 5100's and a 2" aal...vibes started...then spindles, eibachs, 5100's at .85 and leaf pack/1" block...and vibes were gone, except the take off shudder...the block is angled, acting like shims..so that might be another thing to look at...

    Hey guy's... Always check the center support rubber bearing to make sure it is in good shape. also try shimming the center support down to fix the shutter roughly 1/4 to 1/2 inch... You can use washers if you want and that will give you some adjustability. Also make sure the blocks are in the right direction. Tall end of the block to the rear. Last thing if you use our blocks we have two holes in the blocks. For the Taco's and most other trucks you need to use the center hole. Have any questions please call...

    5100's front and rear, front 2.5" rear 2" AAL, 18% tint front and rear, color matched grill. SCS wheels 275/70/17 BFG AT KO's. DTRL toggle switch.
    I have had the drive line shutter since day one. It occurs during medium/hard acceleration on take off. So this is what is holding me back from getting the spindles because the lift is so high. To get the rear of the truck level I am afraid that I will have the vibes bad. My thought is I don't want a 2012 truck that drive like crap. If I could lift the back of my truck and not have bad vibes I would get the spindles today.

    If I had that problem I would be at the dealer getting that fixed. That's what the warranty is for... That is not right... Also check with the dealer if there is any TSBs on that problem... One other person brought up the shutter and said his driveshaft was perfectly straight... You do not want the driveshaft perfectly straight... The shutter happens when the driveshaft under load is angled lower shaft to the upper shaft. If the shafts are straight with no load then the shafts will be angled under load because as you take off the rear end TWISTS which causes the shutter... With no load you want the rear end to have a slight angle downward so when the rear end torques the angle will be straight.... Call me if you have any questions.... Thanks

    i dont think most are running wheel spacers...that makes the front end way wide

    hmm ok cause we did a lift yesterday and the rims were hitting the brake Caliper :S.

    Lol it was pretty bad too, I think it depends on the style of 16s. My last ones didn't rub but the current rims I have do rub without spacers.
