    Damn! How can you live with that, man! This is going to be really annoying driving on the expressway. There should be a solution for this somewhere... or not? :goingcrazy:

    I don't really mind it lol. My commute to work less than 5 miles under 40mph the whole way.

    Okay, that's good.

    Next step: and/or dropping the carrier bearing.

    Dropping the carrier bearing can be done a number of ways: - A lot of people have used this to great success.
    Street Taco bracket (what I have)
    Washers and longer bolts if need be - Go to the hardware store, get six or eight quality 3/8th washers, and add them two at a time. Drive around, see if it helps, and add two more if need be.

    Like @ChadsPride said, don't be! It's all part of the process. Every truck is different, so you just have to adapt. :)

    It'll depend on the rpm of the driveshaft, so acceleration and load will have an effect. All due to misaligned angles.

    Pardon my ignorance! I' just learning here, but how can be related the carrier bearing with the steering wheel shaking awfully? :confused:

    Dumb question! Is 3/8 the size of the hole of the washer, right? Should I use the stock bolt or buy longer bolts?

    In the broad strokes, lifting the truck alters the geometric angle of a rotating mass (drive shaft). Once the angle of that rotating mass is out of alignment, even by a single degree, with everything else it connects with, it'll vibrate at a particular rpm range. The sole purpose of the carrier bearing is to serve as a center support bearing for your drive shaft. So as you lift the truck and alter the angles of the driveshaft in relation to the pinion and transmission output shaft with a third joint in the middle (carrier bearing), you have to do something to return the angle delta of the driveshaft to near zero. Lowering the carrier bearing will do that. The biggest question is by how much does the carrier bearing have to be dropped.

    I mean, if you really want to get into the nitty gritty, we can start measuring angles and doing the math. If that's the way you'd like to go I'm more than happy to help. But the options I listed above are quick and dirty one size fits all solutions that most people have had success with.

    Ok, let me go to Home depot then and buy some SS washers. By the way, here is a photo of my girl. :)

    @sblspawn

    The nice thing about the bracket drops I listed earlier is that they have the appropriate bolts included.
