    We slapped some half inch blocks in the rear and I think I'm calling it a day on the lift aspects.

    In the end it's a PreRunner and I like it to look the part, somewhat.

    Kinda like 6.5" front and ~3.5" rear

    So, with the stock 2" rake...im sitting nose high around 1 inch

    Cool! The trick is to loosen the camber bolts just enough to remove the strut but never too much. How is the tranny acting with the new angle?

    Or you can Mark the cams to the frame and completely remove them and grease em so they don't seize.

    They're not great, at least from the feedback I've gotten on em.

    @Texoma I have a question for you, when you disconnected the UCAs from the Maxtrac spindles on Chad's truck, did you smack the spindle with a hammer or it wasn't necessary? I'm asking because I want to upgrade my struts. :)

    5100's set @0 with 887 springs and 1.5 AAL. Satoshi Raptor grill, Halo Projector led Spyder headlights and syder taillights, Projector led Halo fog lights by Zack/Taco Nation, LED's everywhere else, Raceline 16x8 Assualt wrapped with Goodyear DuraTracs 285/75/16. Wet Okole seat covers, Paracord headrest handles by Cole/Dessert Dunes, Weather tech floor mats, JVC Arsenal KW-V200BT, 2 10" Kicker shallow mount, Alpine components, Alpine 1000 watt amp, interior is completely Dyna matted
    Was the ride that bad on the 3rd gen set-up?
    I picked up a set for whenever I get off my ass and install my maxtrac. I currently am running 5100s with 887s on the bottom setting and was gonna do a 3/4" spacer and 3rd gens shock/coils for somewhere around 5-6". I dont want the full 7" the 887s would give but more than the 4" utilizing some of the sht I've accrued. But if the 3rd gens stuck, new plan.

    They were stiff as shit in my humble opinion. Also, I did my have any weight on the front end at that time and they're meant for a 4x4

    These HS 2" coils feel way way better. Especially with upper control arms meant for that little extra travel. Very happy
    They were tight but I'll let him explain

    If you're removing and reinstalling shocks, there's no need to remove the UCA from spindle. Remove the LCA from spindle instead. Mark the alignment cams to the frame with a paint pen so that you can pull em, grease em, and reinstall em without throwing your alignment out. If you are changing out your UCA's for aftermarket, I would advise against beating on the maxtrac spindle too hard, it is cast. I used a pickle fork to separate them, sometimes the pickle fork tears in to the ball joint boot, so keep that in mind.

    I had 3rd gen struts before and they did the job! They are a little stiff because the springs are rated for almost 720 lbs, more or less, but for the price that you can find them online, they aren't a bad choice. After all they are Bilsteins! :)
