Half inch would translate to almost an inch plus the almost inch from the 2nd clip on the 5100s would put you right under 2 inches

No, I never go off road, so, that's not a problem! Can you list the options from better to worse? Maybe this info could be helpful for someone else! :)

Honestly I'm not too sure it all comes down to personal preference. Like for me I dont mind a little stiffness which is why I'm going with 884 Coils. I believe the spring rate is higher than the stock so should be a little stiffer but I think it will ride better than setting my 5100s all the way up on the stock springs and compress them so much to get lift out of them. However I have seen a few people say that they like the 5100s set at the top clip with the stock springs the truck feels more planted. Like I said it all comes down to personal preference.

I would recommend seeing if any guys in your area have the Billy's set at the 3rd notch and have them drive you around for a little bit and see how you like the ride then go from there

Realistically the best option would be a proper coilover with reduced preload to give you the best ride. They are more expensive but they work. There's also the fact that you already ordered the 5100s negating this option.

I saw in another thread that many guys are using the 5100 with 0 lift and OME 883 to gain around 1.5 inches of lift. I may go this way if the ride is less stiff. A more harsh suspension tend to increase the steering wheel shimmy of my truck.

The HS 2 doesn't lift the Prerunner 2.5 inches?

Oh yes it does. These coils and basically every coil your see is designed for a 4x4 truck

So, with less weight in the front end PreRunners are getting nearly 3" from those coils

Only reason mines not at the full 7" is becuase my heavy ass bumper settled them out some

Damn! That's way too much lift for me, man! I will be happy with anything between 5 and 6. I think that the 5100 and the OME 883 are the best option for me. The 3rd gen TRD struts are like fucking bricks! So, any other shit softer than this crap will be heaven!

They will settle some over time. But the choice is yours man!!!

I just don't think you'll be as happy as you could be if you use the 5100s on a higher clip with the 883s

No, no, I will set the 5100 to 0 (No lift) with the OME 883. The specs says that the 883 lift the Prerunner 1" 1/2.
