For those that are running coil overs with 0 preload and the maxtrac spindles,

What do you guys run in the rear for a level setup?

Also what tire size? I’m not a fan of a big wheel well gap.

Debating still on replacing the 5100s all around. Figure I can try to smooth out the ride a little to in the process. Have the Allpro standard leaf pack for the rear. Any recommendations? Or should I just stick with the billies all around?

634 pages of info maybe someone can just answer faster than I can search. Already have 5160 in the rear. What leaf will work without jeopardizing the shock during droop? Also how stupid would it be to just leave the rear as-is and still do spindles

So you're stock on the rear? I have OME rear packs with upgraded shocks. If you're wanting to leave the rear stock and go up 4 inches in the front, it's going to look real silly. Unless you're into that Cali lean look. That I honestly think doesn't look good on a tacoma. I have the exact truck, and I went over to @HeadStrong Off-Road and emailed them. You'll need new wheels too, your old ones won't fit with the spindles.

Already have the wheels and tires. And already have 5160 installed on the rear. Guess I'm just wondering if the OME dakars and 5160 are compatible

Hell yeah, remove an overload leaf if you want to adjust the height out back.

You'll probably end up putting it back if you ever load the bed. The OME Dakar leaf packs are a great investment in my opinion.

They flex really well and manage weight much better than the factory leafs with or without the AAL

Also, extended brake lines are something to consider. You'll have a nice setup that can be added to at any time but will look & function well from the start.

Just talked to marie at @HeadStrong Off-Road . The 5160 is actually longer on its extended length than the ARB provided shock and similar on collapsed length. So as long as it hits factory bumps before the shock is 100% collapsed, all is good! Thanks guys!

Yeah I’m trying find out which one works best. I’m putting the link kit for rear on hold for now. So I’d figure I put a locker, new rims, bumper and rear bedsides first
