Sup man! I would get @Texoma to do the install.

The spindles will come with extended front brake lines.

Appreciate the quick feed back Chad.

Texoma, awesome what does something like that run and where do you normally do the installs, I just recently installed my suspension so I might need to save a little extra cash so I'm trying to figure out if I need any other extra parts I might need +install

It’s super easy to install. The only thing you’ll need besides the regular tools is a 10mm flare nut wrench for the brake lines. A lot of people strip the nuts on the brake lines by using different wrenches. Also, start spraying the nuts and bolts on the brake lines and original spindles a couple days before the lift. It will make the removal of all the components a lot easier. It looks like you have someone that will help install it. You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to do. Good luck with it and post some pics afterwards!

The only thing you’ll need to figure out is what you want to lift the rear with, blocks, AAL,or full leaf packs.

I have a 2" block in the rear but I plan on doing an aal later on, I read somewhere that I may need wheel spacers since I'm running 16" wheels?

It depends on the backspacing you have on the 16s. Spacers may be needed. Also, if you’re gonna go with an AAL also, you might want to look at longer brake lines in the rear and longer shocks. You’ll have to see what it’s like once you’re done installing. The shocks will fit, but they will be stretched quite a bit. It will lessen your downward travel of the rear axle. The brake lines may be long enough though.

If you’re gonna run just the blocks in the rear, you’ll be fine with everything in the rear suspension.

Hey did you ever find out if you can make the LSK stock LCA work with the Maxtrac spindles?

Diggin deep back in the archive but was their a reason you went with TC LCAs and not the LSK LCAs? Was LSK not able to fab something up to make their LCA work with the maxtrac spindles?

You're not kidding about reaching back....LOL
LSK didnt make stock length LCA's at the time.....plus LCA's were just a dream at this time in my build but these TC LCA's popped up for 600 bucks and who can turn down a smokin deal like that. I made spacers to make the TC arms work with the maxtrac spindles.

I can not stress enough, keep an eye on your drive shaft u-joints and carrier bearing. My taco is at a drive shaft shop for repair beyond my mechanic skills only because i dint have that kind of machinery. Ive replaced u-joints and carrier bearings (such a pain), i hope i can get this nasty issue resold at a decent price. My taco is my daily and has been for the past 5 years and has 160K, 75k is what i put on her, but she has been tough and strong so i guess it was only a matter of time before i had to start replacing and rearing.

Haha yeah Iv read through every page and post of this thread as I saved up for my lift and remembered reading that you were able to fab up some spacers to make TC LCAs work. And yeah for $600 bucks that’s a steal. And I’m much in the same boat as you were LCAs are pretty much a dream right now. LSK now does make a stock length LCA but it has some sort of uniball spindle adapter that I think the TC LCAs don’t have. https://www.lsksuspension.com/product-page/05-tacoma-lower-control-arms-lsk1140 but the Dirt King LCA looks similar to the TC LCAs maybe you spacers will work with these.upload_2019-12-22_20-0-57.jpg

@TheBlueBeast15 @Airdog yes. I was able to get in contact with Ryan @ LSK. It appears we need to take about .2145 inches off the top of the lower uniball bracket. I have the LCA's in hand. I told Ryan I would have some SLA'd brackets made for a fit check and then shipped to him. I mentioned the possibility of some folks on here being interested. He said he'd consider offering them as an option. If your impatient, you could always take a belt sander to the top of the bracket. You don't want to remove material from the bottom side of the bracket. He also didn't have concerns about the lower coilovers eyelet being ~.2145 inches higher as a result of the modification

...please ask me for ETA's...to keep me in check and get this done...haha

I had drive shaft issues all year U-Joints and 2 carrier bearings, the piece that holds one of the U-joints cracked and blew a U-joint. I took it to a local Drive shaft place the cut off an replaced the piece that cracked, a U-joint and balanced. Truck drives and shifts smoother than a babies bottom.

Oh dang that sounds great. Thanks for trying to dial those in to work with the Maxtrac spindles. But as of right now I probably won’t get new LCAs until the next BFS they have. But keep us posted on here I’m sure other people are interested as well.
