Unless you changed the shocks it'll ride exactly the same as factory. Looks good.

Eventually I’ll mess with the shocks, control arms, gears, 35s, financial nightmares, etc. but for now this keeps me happy….for now. Lol thanks man!

How can I get 3.5 inch with Dakars? A 1 inch block maybe?

I know people typically tend to hate blocks but something that small is probably the easiest way to get a little extra height with the Dakars

Maxtrac, jba, and fox coilovers. Running 35s and he ended up putting bags in the back with his expo springs.

Pro coil/shock and rear shock swap, total chaos UCAs, factory rear camera, cruise, intermittent switch upgrades.
I'm currently installing a pro suspension and total chaos UCA's without doing my proper homework. Was under the impression the spring packs were something they're not, and it's led me on a several hour journey to what is education on non garbage spring packs for Tacoma's. Currently, I have my eyes on a set of deaver U402's that would give me 5 inches of lift in the rear. Luckily, I stumbled on this thread and read from the 420's to the almost 500's before creating an account to beg for your wisdom.

If I installed the u402's (cap, plus 335-ish pounds of mastiff, and luggage in the back) and got ahold of the 4" lift spindles, extended brake lines, what else am I looking at suspension upgrade wise to level the ride out? Obviously front spacers, and I need to figure out if the 5160s in the rear will be long enough for those leafs in the first place. My head tells me something along the lines of 5.5-ish front and 5 rear however the front sits 2.5" lower, so the ride would practically be level? I'm just trying to figure that part out before I go into the other recommended drivetrain mods associated.

I Have the deaver u402’s stage 1 and I didn’t get close to 5 inches of lift. Unless your talking about a different stage you may want to double check the lift height.

Glad to see the JBAs work with the maxtrac spindles, I've been eyeballing a set of coilovers but need upper control arms as well to clear the coils or they'll bind at full droop.

@Timbo's Customs have you taken that combo out yet? (Wheeled it off road to test the sudden down travel increase from trail use) Any issues with binding, clunking, popping, ect... from the UCAs contacting the coil itself or from ball joints maxing out?

No I haven’t. I do know when people ask about 3” lifts for their 4x4 models I always recommend jba or spc. I do know these will not hit the springs at all from al the others I’ve installed

Sweet good to know. I just have been reading into alot of 2.5 coil overs and most if not all kits state they need the new uca's, while I understand it's for alignment some aftermarket manufacturers also state that its needed for contact issues... seems like JBAs are a real popular choice and have pretty good feedback here on TW.

Anyone running 275/70/17 with this lift? Wondering if they look too small with this lift.
