Non that we have heard of. Look at the last few pages of my build thread and you can see these will stand up to hard hits.

Maxtrac owes you one for this because that hit you took perfectly demonstrates the quality of the spindle; there’s no better strength test then real life physical abuse which it’s clear in the photos that’s exactly what you did.

Also I would assume most on here wouldn’t even play as rough as you, which should reassure potential buyers that sometimes you can actually pay less and still get something just as good.

That said… a set of spindles that can be purchased for half the cost compared to the competition and still hold up to abuse rather then just offering a lift is purchase I am very happy with.

I was going faster than any of the LT trucks this time out. I should have a cage for the way I play...

x2 on this shit. Last time I was out with Chris, I literally saw his truck catching air and he bucked up and down through a whoop section in barstow. I like these spindles and honestly, Ive seen 2 camburg spindles fail this year and no maxtracs. Maxtrac has definitely got thier shit together! :)

Holy crap man, you really pound that poor Tacoma

I like to go fast on dirt roads, but I would never hit whoops at speed. Well I guess I can't say never because it seems each time I go out I push it harder and harder so I may get there eventually.

    You going LT eventually?

I'm working on an in-between mid and TL set-up since I don't want the crazy track width of full TL and spindles yet want to retain the spindles for clearance without preload. Hoping to have it all done at the end of the year, but it may take longer.

Drove 2011 4 door 4.0 today with 285/75s on trd wheels it had a billi adjustable lift at max and the Brakes were noticeably weaker like really had to press and couldn't believe the power loss. I know it's the coils at full compression but it rode like crap. With that said all you guys really like the 285s!? Or even bigger!? Maybe I'm spoiled by the plush stock ride and its the main reason I want to stick with 265s on stocker 16. And hopefully the spindle(in all rights shouldn't) inhibit the ride quality. Would it look to stupid on 265s?

I would like to know what the truck you drove is using as for it's brake set up. If it has fully ceramic pads that could be the cause for the brake power loss you were feeling. I know when I switched from semi metallic to ceramics there was definitely a difference in braking power but I have adjusted to that.

At 20k my factory breaks were already getting pretty bad, once I switched to better rotors and pads the difference was pretty significant. I understand the bigger/heavier tire will require more brake power, but maybe a simple update might offset the loss.

That said I've seen 265s with the 4" spindles and I didn't think it looked bad at all and was really surprised because I honestly thought it would look ridiculous; way too much gap from fender to the top of the tire. I'm sure if you search around on here enough you'll be able to find pics.

Here is my truck with 4in spindles on 265/70/16 on pretty leveled ground. It could use bigger tires but its fine until I can afford 285.
