That campsite fell through, so we'll be camping somewhere in central Maine on the end of Day 1.

Anyone have suggestions for a good spot?

You could od Molligewock in NH. Has group camping. State park rates. On the water. Brings you through the white mtns

Id think you guys would want to get as far North that first day as you can. I may be able to host a few trucks in the greater Portland area.. All depends on where I end up moving next month as Im looking for a new lease to sign right now.. So we'll see about that

The question is what do you consider central Maine lol. Wanna be close to 95 or 45-1 hour away?

^ I think it was decided that we hit up Elephant Mtn on the first day. So probably roll I95 up to Newport then head up to Greenville? Depends on how scenic we want to get

Let me ask the wife about up there and see what she says could always look at the atlas for back roads / hiking trail spots I got one in the car I will grab when the wife gets back. Unless you wanna do like a state park or actual over night camp ground.

We're going to be coming up 95, but once we're north of Portland switching to back roads works. My original plan was to take 95 most of the way to Bangor then turn off.

I may be able to have a few tents in the backyard as well, even if I don’t join the group. I’m 20 minutes south of Portland

You'd get franconia notch the kankamangus highway, the white mountains, and wrap that up with camping in the androscogin River. The next day youd get height of the land, Rangely lakes, some mtn that I forget what the hell it's called, a massive back country windmill farm that overlooks everything and you drive it, sugar Bush....?, flagstaff lake area and eventually you'd get to greenfield which means you could start with the B52.

The if you wanted you could go the farm side of Moosehead and up you go

I think most of the group is running Roof Top Tents, so we just need a flat spot to park.
