Its looking like I might be in that boat. My current plan is to install the leaf packs Fri night, meetup with everyone Sat morning around Greenville for the B52 hike > camp > trains on Sunday then probably head to a family thing in the Augusta area Sun evening.

personally...i'd skip the Northern Rd and take Demo...but its just a suggestion. #mudseason #singingtheSeboomookBlues

I responded with yep, that’s why we want to be with others, so we can get out of the mess we get into

Okay, so I’m going to need some assistance from the New England contingent joining us on this trip.

REI in Hartford, CT is the only location where we can get a RTT for this trip. We wanted to get s Roam tent but they’re out of stock until July

Anyone have either rack space, bed space, or bed rail space they could use to strap down our tent for us?

Hartford is about 3-4 hrs off course for our trip to the waypoint Friday night.

If that’s not an option, does anyone have a RTT we could borrow for the weekend? This would be the perfect choice for us as we’d rather not take a hit selling the Tepui tent in 2 months.

Well I mean being one of the only dot certified bumpers that could also survive a full on collision with godzila, that's got to account for something

Fair point but my taint is more attractive than that monstrosity. When ArcticElf and I are done building my bumper, it may not be DOT approved but it’ll make mince meat out of Godzilla

Thanks anyway man. Maybe a couple of guys would be able to shift some of their load around for the trip up to the waypoint?

Check the Reading location in MA. If they have it in there online store, they can have it delivered there pretty quick.

I would need 2 trucks to meet me at exit 70 on I84 in CT and the 2 trucks need to be half empty beds.
I'm going to need the full bed for the RTT.
    Anyone want to help out?

Whats wrong with a simple ground tent for this trip?
