I saw some tires on a pick-up and they are a brand I'm not familiar with. Mazama, open country, all terrains. They look like they have a good tread pattern for road and rock, and mild wet situations. Does anyone have any experience or relevant knowledge? Are they pricey? Quiet? Long lasting? The usual concerns...

Not too familiar with them, but I know they are owned by Sumitomo, which owns Falken. Which is why the AT tires by this brand has a very similar tread pattern as the Falken Wildpeaks. I expect they are just a cheaper version of them. my $.02 .... Don't cheap out on tires, probably the most important thing you can do to your vehicle besides regular oil changes.

Bump to see if anyone has experience with the brand.

I strongly considered them. You see a lot of them around here and people seem to like them. With Les Schwab you are paying a premium for service. Les isn't going to have the cheaper version of anything. I ended up going a different route entirely do to cost.
