I was looking into some MB Chaos wheels and was wondering if the 17" BLACK MB Chaos 6 WHEELS RIMS 6x139.7 (6x5.5") LUG with a +25mm backspacing would fit my 2009 taco d 6 lug?

Haha yes they actually will, there are a few guys running those wheels on their trucks on here. They are good looking wheels! And great price

Luco1029, the answer to your original question is still NO. The 17X8.5" MB Chaos wheels w/ a +25 offset have 5.75" of backspacing. They will NOT fit your truck. If you like that style of wheel, you'll have to get the ones that Jason Jump posted which have a -6 offset. That equates to 4.5" of backspacing...the same as a factory alloy wheel.

I've heard of folks running 265's on 5.75" backspacing just fine. I think tacosumpreem has that setup.

I have these wheels on my 1st Gen...I guess I don't know what the offset/backspacing is on them though.

Great wheel though, I love them.

I have these on my 06 and haven't had any issues. I have the 16" though, not sure if that makes a difference.

    x2

with a 5.5" stock backspace, 5.75" should still clear, although, if planning to run bigger than stock tires, you may run into issues with the inner sidewall of the tires rubbing on the frame at full lock...

if they come in 4.5" backspace though, you will be golden...

Factory 16x7" alloy wheels like the ones pictured have 4.5" of backspacing. If you try wheels that have anything over 5.5" of backspacing, you're going to be pushing it. The wheels and/or tires will rub when the suspension is full extended. Your tires will also be hidden inside the wheel well. Any reputable wheel dealer will sell you the correct offset. They're not going to sell you wheels that have 5.75" of backspacing unless you have a Chevy or front wheel drive car.

Those look like the -6 offset. Otherwise they wouldn't stick out beyond the fender.

those look like the stock wheels on a first gen, so yah, they are 4.5" backspace...

the stock wheels on the 2nd gens is supposed to be 5 to 5.5" backspace...

are we all talking about the same thing here?

    hahaha

I have heard that you cant fit 15" wheels on your late 1st gen if it came with 16's because of the calipers. I was looking around because i found some black steelies in 15x8 that i think would look cool on my rad red truck.

oh, but if they are the Soft 8's, you will need wheel spacers... the dimple die holes in them wheels don't clear the brake vein on the front calipers...
