MBRP exhaust... Thoughts?

Check out Gibson Exhaust. I just got one and it got zero drone. Deep sound. Nice rumble at idle. To me its the perfect exhaust for our engines. No need for resonators or any other mods. Just throw the exhaust on and go. Check out my vid fron yesterday. Not the best video but just wanted everyone to get an idea.

 

I have one. No Drone. I put a speedway auger style insert in the pipe. Quited it. And no Drone. When it stops raining I'll post a pic of where it went .

This sounds almost identical to the Flowmaster super 44

 

Have one and love it. Deep throaty sound on start up and accelerating, with slight drone at 70mph but does go away. Without it the truck sounds like a Camry imho.

Also 618814-B comes with the exhaust tip black. Could not find one in stock so I went with chrome with plans on painting it in the summer.

One with the standard MBRP chrome exhaust tips


Next with the Resonator exhaust tips


The change is small but pretty noticeable from inside the cabin.
On the outside, not too much. Though it is not as riced on WOT.

 

Do you have any clips from inside the cabin? I initially went with a 3 inch SS AFE exhaust but it was too much for the auto V6 imo. The Gibson at 2.5in seems like a better fit for the 3.5L as you don’t lose as much low end torque but I’m worried about the drone in the 1800-2700 range.

 

Havnt got good inside vids just yet. Been shit weather in Chicago and just havnt been outside much besides going to work. Ill take some good vids as soon as the weather gets a little better. As for drone, there is for sure none. Ive had cars before thag would drone and would really piss me off but this exhaust does not drone. Ill get vids and post em up here.
