Looking for a local in the queenstown, MD area to help me diagnose a 4WD issue. I am willing to compensate anyone who could help or point me to a shop that could help diagnose this issue.

4HI blinks non stop with the truck in 2H or 4H (the truck is still stuck in 2H), under heavy acceleration the 4LO begins to blink along side the 4H.

why are you heavy accelerating trying to engage 4WD High range? its a shift on the fly, not shift on the oh sh*& I need traction...

you should also be exercising your 4wd weekly.. I put mine in and out of 4wd, and 4 lo regularly to have it when i need it, and to be sure seals/bearings are getting lubed.. so when i need 4WD, or 4Lo I have them..

try on flat ground shifting your trans into drive from a stop, and shifting the t-case from 2wd high to 4wd high... go forewards 15 feet or so slowly.. it should engage.. if not,, go in reverse 10-15 feet.. then go forwards.. it should lock into 4x4 High range (light goes solid).. one it does this.. drive forwards 20-30 feet.. then put trans in neutral, and shift t-case into 4WDLo... wait until light goes solid on 4Lo... drive forward 20-30 feet or so....

sometimes if the tolerances are too tight, or you havent driven in 4wd much, or have not in a while it will be hard to shift in and out of 4wd.. and require you to drive forwards, and backwards a few times.. my fathers 2000 GMC truck was like this.. would shift into 4x4 easily, but to get out of it, you had to stop put tcase in 2wd, and put trans in reverse, back up a few feet, then go forward, and it would disengage...
