    So I took delivery of a 2012 Tacoma TRD Sport Double Cab a couple of days ago on Monday 5/7/12. I actually purchased the truck on 5/3/12 but had to wait for it to be delivered to TX from LA. I have a good buddy (maser) that I know has a Tacoma and is very proud of it, and immediately notified him that I had joined the superior ranks of Tacoma owners. After a bit of discussion about why it was such a good move to trade in my 06 F150 4x4 for the Tacoma, I asked him which forum he frequented so that I could go see what all fun mods folks do to their truck. Guess I was bitten with the mod bug before even having my truck in my possession.

    I am very excited about this truck. I feel like a kid with a new toy! I had the dealer install predator steps on the truck, so I guess that is the first official mod. It has the JBJ entune stereo in it, but I have a JL 4 channel amp, JL mono amp, and a JL 10w3 sub that I plan to add to it as well. I am sure that I will find new door speakers to throw in too.

    Speaking of mods, guess I should wrap up this post so that I can go order a N-FAB light bar! I look forward to continuing to learn from all of you on this site and hopefully begin to contribute once I have some experience worth sharing...

    For now here is a pic of my pretty much bone stock Tacoma.
