    I love Merrell's...I have about 5 or 6 pair right now ranging from lightweight sneakers to my hiking boots. They are well made, very sturdy, and the Vibram soles will never wear out. I've put plenty of miles on my boots and they are still in great shape. If you're going to be doing any hiking on steep or uneven terrain I would suggest going with a taller style to help support your ankle.
