MESO Dash Vent ring kit

I'll have quicksand showing up Saturday. Should have install pics this weekend

AWESOME! I noticed the rings match the texture on the stock vents themselves. How was the install?

 

I did this in a Utah snowstorm for you...

the install wasn’t hard. The hardest part(s) was getting the chrome ring out because my dykes didn’t work well. Then making sure the new rings were level (because the chrome wasn’t always level with the dash around it and it threw me).

all in all, took about 45 min. Awesome work.

 

Hey Stew, are the rings supposed to be all labeled as "2"? The install video says they should be individually numbered. Thanks!

 

Yes they are all the same rings they just have to orient different in order to all face up. I did this to save tooling costs(1mold VS 4 molds)
Was a little tricky to make 1 fit all.. but it works!

 

Ah okay sweet, thanks. So just to clarify for the orientation, the #2 arrow goes in the 2nd vent spot and #1-3-4 is used for the other vents?

 

Correct. Toyota really wanted to screw with me making hole #2 mouthing clips skewed from the rest.(I picture someone in the design room laughing out HAHAH MESO GOT EM)

 

Analysis paralysis is so real haha.

 

Now those number make sense haha. I just rotated them till the tabs lined up AND the notch in your desgin was at 12 o'clock.

 

Just finished installing them. Thanks Meso for the instant help! The install was very easy and I think they look awesome! It's tough to get good pics at night and in the rain though.

Need to see some more pics of red rings installed. I can’t decide if it’s too much or not. My rs3 has red seat stitching and similar red vent rings as well...
