The old saying "a fool and his money" just got one-upped this week with "an indecisive fool and his money." :spending:

After taking a hard look at the red, I thought better of it and did a mix-n-match of the lower kit. Kept the red cupholder but replaced the shift and starter with MGM. I like it much better.

Just a little bit of red goes a long ways -so sayeth the ginger. :anonymous:

That red looks great. I'm holding off for Voodoo Blue. I'm on the fence but I don't think the Cav Blue is garish enough.

+1 Vote for Voodoo Blue kits, plz.

(although FWIW I'd be the lone weirdo to get INTO that translucent atomic purple offered on the keyfobs.)

    Thanks!

Checkout this post for how I did it: Wiring LEDs in Front Light Bar, Rock Lights, Puddle Lights, Rear, Footwell, Bed, Map and Dome

More recent wiring is here: Trigger Six Shooter by Advanced Accessory Concepts Install and Review

To summarize though, I'm using this LEDglow kit with a @DSIM DomeRock harness so that the lights come on whenever I unlock the doors, approach the truck, open the doors, etc. He has a thread on his harness here: DomeRock Module for Courtesy Rock Lights V4 by DSIM Solutions

Hey guys. Picked these up in the first batch and finally got around to installing them. Adding pics in case anyone was wondering what the red looks like with the inferno bezel. It looks like the vent rings are spot on to the trd red color but they blend in perfectly with the inferno interior. Thank you meso!

Just a heads up for anyone trying to get rid of the chrome mirror switch. We know the 2019 and up Tacoma’s have black, sienna, but also, the 2016 and up PRIUS has the black switch with matching font and blue backlight. You don’t even need the switch, just the knob. I found an entire Prius master window control for 17 bucks on there. Way cheaper than buying the switch with black knob from Toyota for $100+. For some reason the Prius master controls are WAY cheaper than the Sienna or other models on eBay! Guess there are a lot of totaled Prius out there haha!

attached photo of Prius knob. Also thanks @MESO for getting rid of the plastic chrome!

Also the 2017 and mid years Camry, got an entire panel also. I was going to use the window switch panel because they have automatic up and down on all four windows but the connecter is different.

I thought the same thing, with the auto up and down windows on all 4. Then saw the connector. :( oh well. I say 17 bucks well spent. I’m just gonna resell it with my Chrome knob on it! Haha

Nice! The SR handles are super expensive for what they are and require taking the door panels off. I have vinyl decals over the chrome handles currently but they aren't perfect and a pain in the butt to put on so a trim piece that pops on over the over stock handles would be awesome!

Yup.. vinyl is hard to install(correctly) and get out all the creases/bubbles. SR handles are expensive and you have to remove every door panel. This will be a custom molded snap-on black out cover. Quicker than installing SR or vinyl overlays:thumbsup:

I’m leaving my handles chrome until the steering wheel logo has a legitimate blackout or logo change. Not a grainy 3D printed thing or overlay. I want a trd/pro logo, similar finish to my old STI steering wheel logo. Something that is OEM quality.
I feel like the chrome handles and the chrome steering wheel logo are an acceptable pair for everything to make sense currently. Plus I think the black plastic door handles look cheap, like Chevy Aveo cheap...cheaper than plastic chrome.

Haha! I AM NOT REFERRING TO YOUR PRODUCTS as grainy overlays. Haha thinking of another product out there. You’re stuff I consider OEM quality. And maybe trying to inspire you to make a steering wheel logo replacement :)

But I am curious how a black snap on cover over the handles will cover the chrome that would be visible when the handle is pulled?

a steering wheel logo like this!!

    or even this!
