A switch adapter would be perfect. Is there anything out there right now? Possible future meso add on?

    Nice!

You better be making about the same number of switches as the number of puddle lights you sold. Yeah. It going to be like that. Oh, and get the left side switch panels ready too. :boink:

I'm going to need two of these, although one isn't for the mirrors. Maybe you have one that says MESO on it?

I think i need that switch. I didnt realize that the puddles stay on all the time if the doors are open when working on or cleaning the interior.

I have a question about these switches with DSIM's module. Since both pull from the same T-harness, will the switch cause the DSIM module to have the same states as the puddle lights (on/auto/off)?

Yes, as the DSIM module and splitter will piggyback off of it.
I brought this up to DSIM, which is why a two way splitter was designed, to allow for two circuits, one for the puddles, one for the module. Hence why I will be getting two switches, one for each circuit.

Nice. I was hoping I could have one switch for all. Looks like I can. Thanks

What’s this DSIM module? Something else I don’t know I need yet?

I’m in the same boat, I want to get the puddle lights but if I can avoid spending anymore money than I already have on my truck, it would keep my wife off my back. Does anyone else have the piece from their passenger side mirror that these replace? I will pay for shipping + some cash or come grab it if your in OC/LB area.

Also... is there any word on when the puddle lights are ready to ship out?

I think the pinout wouldn't be quite right. I think yours has 4, whereas my current one has 5 or 6 (can't remember 100%). I know I have 5 wires attached though.

Is your process for these switches 'reasonably priced'; i.e. how many would you have to sell to make production worth your time? I know there are a bunch of 'anytime backup camera w/front' mods out there. Most probably already have a switch in place. But future sales, and swaps (which I would do to get rid of the big guy).

I was just at ME-SO's website to see if the puddle switches were available and ran across the obligatory:

[IMG] WARNING: These products can expose you to chemicals including lead, or Phthalates, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

I'm wondering, can they just put this on EVERYTHING and be done with it:

Yeah unfortunately that’s the age we live in. Every thing has to have a warning or a label, Otherwise we are all going to die

I went to my dealer and checked out a 2020 PRO with the multi terrain. The camera is housed in the outer section, so the puddles will still work no problem on all the 2020’s! (Camera or not)

I got real excited for a second when I saw the pic before reading, thought for a moment you we're coming out with your own multi cam mod. But alas, got my hopes up too fast lol

@MESO this thread is LONG! Can’t look through everything and see if someone has asked, “Is it possible, and if so, how can you modify the puddle lights to a switch or something similar to come on manually while driving off road to use as potential rock lights?”

Or if anyone else can help? Lead me to an existing post w/ this info? Thanks! Diagram or illustration of how to? Much thanks in advance.
