    No modifications from what I recall, just remove your oem 3rd brake light, and mount this one. Install the lights of course...
    Funny though, the one I have doesn't have jack nuts, it has the 'slip on' type screw adapter thingys...

    You have to mod the OEM plug and either destroy the OEM brake light or drop the headliner and remove the bolts for the OEM 3rd brake light removal.
